Our engineering team leans on Graphite Reviewer for pull request reviews. It doesn’t replace a human reviewer, but will catch a few things a week that our human reviewers miss. And the Graphite reviewer usually runs before a human reviewer gets to the pull request. Which is nice for saving expensive, human time.
On an engineering team, for every hour of code writing, there are 10 hours of code fixing and maintenance. Graphite is pretty key for us to reducing that fixing and maintenance time.
Another nifty thing about Graphite is pull request stacking. Our engineering team spans 14 timezones at Product Hunt. It’s not unusual for someone to crank out a bunch of work while the rest of the team is asleep. Pull request stacking is quite helpful for smoothing out that workflow.

We use Codex for PR reviews. Easy to hook up to our repo. Codex leaves a 👀 on the PR description when the review starts and a 👍 when the review finishes. That's a delightful experience. More importantly, it has caught a few critical issues. We don't use Codex for code generation, so it's nice to have an agent that did not write the code review it.

A bunch of our team uses Windsurf. It's ok Cursor, don't panic, there are still some Cursor users as well. I personally find Windsurf producing better diffs than Cursor. Windsurf seems to be better at pulling in the correct context. And Windsurf cascade prompting iterates on the suggestions automatically (without me in the loop).

We like Claude Code. We especially like running Claude Code inside Cursor. It's a beautifully executed terminal agent. And most importantly, the generated code tends to be quite good. The responses also tend to be succinct and to the point unlike gpt-5. Earlier, we ran into a bunch of usage limits, but that hasn't been an issue recently. Finally, the option+cmd+k VS Code extension shortcut is a nice touch.

Product Hunt has relied on Next.js for over 3 years. Next.js is wonderful and keeps evolving. We are extra thankful to the Vercel team for pushing us to adopt modern features like SSR streaming.
CursorThe AI Code Editor

Cursor is one of the original AI code editors (2023 was a long time ago!) and has stood the test of time. It's a VS Code fork, which was key for me. I lean on @VS Code extensions and custom shortcuts. I was able to keep all of them (there is a migration assistant) when moving over to Cursor.
Cursor is very much an editor for looking at code as opposed to a vibe coding tool like @v0 by Vercel. My typical modes of using cursor are:
I review every line of code an agent outputs. And I find myself editing code quite a bit. The agent still outputs code that is too verbose and, sometimes, not maintainable.
The price is nice too. $20/month is very reasonable.

Moving to Mercury has dramatically simplified our interactions with finances, and quite frankly as someone who builds software, it's a pleasure to use an elegantly-designed tool. I'm also a customer of personal banking and it's really nice to have the same well-designed interface and granular controls (I swear I'm not being paid for this promo...I'm just a Mercury fan).
