Circle is the world’s leading all-in-one platform for online communities. We make it possible for creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to bring together their audience with engaging discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments — all in one place, all under their own brand.
highlight its effectiveness in managing and growing their communities. Users appreciate the ease of setup and the familiar social feed without ads. However, some criticize the chat feature's limitations and slow tech support. While the platform is seen as expensive, its all-in-one package is generally well-received for simplifying community management.
We just completed migration of our popular discussion forum community engagement platform to Circle. The only regret is not doing it sooner! Our primary goals are to make the user experience easier and more engaging, while simplifying administration. In less than a week more than 100 new members have joined us, and many have provided extremely positive feedback. Circle made setting up our new community platform quick and easy. And it provides our users a familiar social feed with simple ways to connect and engage with others, without any of the ads, distractions, or privacy intrusion found on social media.

I like the platform itself so far, but I really need to complain about the tech support. - They are the slowest among any tech services that I have seen. I really I'm not used to their speed of replying to your emails and solving problems. I needed to have a test community deleted in order to set up my new one. It's sort of an urgent matter, and it took them more than 72 hours to complete...
Circle is clunky and awful for members to use.
It only has an app for Apple, not Android - they keep saying the Android app is coming. Even Apple users found it awkward. My 400+ member community declined because of the challenges with using the program.
Avoid.
If you have any problems, customer service help just ignore you. You'll need to email them around 6 times to get any response
What needs improvement
slow customer support (2)no Android app (1)awkward user experience (2)
We switched our small community for watch collectors from Slack to Circle in March this year. The all-in-one package is definitely convincing. I haven't been as impressed with a tool as I am with Circle for a long time.
Unfortunately, there is one major point of criticism for me and my community: the chat feature is simply not at the same level as the rest. In contrast to modern messengers, Circle is unfortunately still lagging far behind. I hope they will improve this feature asap.
I choose Circle because they always integrate the latest technologies. I love that we can white label our community and connect it to a domain of our choosing.
Do live streams support recordings and replays?
Yeah, admins can review recordings and replays.
How robust are discussion forums and moderation tools?
Admins can moderate each Space on circle and approve content published in Spaces on Circle.
Are chat features real-time and searchable?
Yes, you can search messages and chat in real time.
Can I remove Circle branding completely?
You can add your branding such as a logo and domain name or use the Circle branding.
I tried it, easy to start, especially for individuals, unlike other platforms that are more tailored to businesses, but feels very limited as you grow.
