Makers that were affected by the layoffs in Uber, Lyft etc. and want to build their own startup?

I think Uber managed to outcompete all the taxi operators, I don't know any better service than Uber. Besides, uber customer service is very helpful and polite, that's why more and more clients prefer exactly this company.
