Brain MAX by ClickUp - One AI app to rule them all: Your knowledge + Talk to Text

I'm so excited! I can't keep up with ClickUps innovation, seriously! So ahead of many other tools I've tried...

THIS IS HUGE!!! Having all AI tools in one place is a game changer for me! And to also have that integrated within ClickUp to increase my productivity has been amazing, I’ve seen a definite increase in productivity!

This looks ridiculously useful. Huge respect to the team for actually shipping something this ambitious 👏

Using Brain with my team at Sites at Scale has made our daily work much simpler. We manage tasks, connect our apps, schedule meetings, send messages and emails, and keep track of our agendas—all in one place. The Talk to Text feature has also made it easier to capture ideas and updates quickly.

I appreciate the leadership at ClickUp, @djcurfew , @clickup_chris , et al, for building something that genuinely streamlines our workflow.

As someone working in Customer Support at Sites At Scale, ClickUp has become absolutely essential to my day-to-day. The way it helps me track tickets, collaborate with the team, and stay on top of priorities has truly streamlined how I work.

But what really took it to the next level for me is Brain Max, it’s like having a second brain! It helps me think more clearly through tasks and organize my workflow in a way that actually sticks. Honestly, my job wouldn’t be the same without it.

This feels like a major unlock for productivity with AI. Brain Max feels like an actual shift from AI as a surface-level add-on to something that’s actually integrated into how teams work. The ability to access context from tasks, docs, and goals—and act on it—is a solid step toward actual AI collaboration, not just assistance. Excited to see how this evolves!

When I saw this I got really excited, however after a quick test it's close to being really useful. But unfortunately it's just not really, if it were truly $9/month then it would absolutely be worth it. But it's not.

I've used all my free credits in about 20 minutes of testing, mostly asking the chatbot to try again after it failed the first time.

The problem with ClickUp's pricing is that it's per user, and if I wanted to upgrade to this it's not $9, it's $90 a month because I have 10 team members.

It's the same reason I'm on the Unlimited plan vs upgrading to the Business plan. The thought of me being able to use dashboards would be nice, until you realise that that costs an extra $90 a month just for 1 person out of the 10 who needs to use dashboards.

ClickUp is a great tool, but the pricing system just makes tools like this too expensive for what it is.

On the Brain Mac tool itself, I connected all the apps we use, Slack, Drive, Figma. I only had enough credits to test Drive & Figma and it failed to find any of the files or folders even after giving the exact file names. I found it helpful to be able to go through my overdue tasks and action them with AI's assistance, however most of the time the actions I asked it to do failed, which I had to just ask it to try again 2-3 times and then it would work. There was no time saved.

I understand it's new so inevitably there are going to be bugs/issues, but not worth $90 (what it would cost us to use this just for one person).

unfortunately the onboarding auth workflow never finishes for me. (creates new clickup and logs in, but doesn't ever register back with brain max.)
