Which product analytic tools do you recommend to track user behavior?
As per free tools, I recommend Posthog - Mixpanel. Both of these provide insights into your product usage and user behavior to help you make data-driven decisions and improve your products. Posthog is targeted to roles closer to web development or software related backround. Mixpanel is targeted to less technical backrounds Which tool has helped your business track user behavior and why?

What analytics tools are you using?
Hey Product Hunt! I've joined the Amy team recently, and we're launching soon (check us out - https://www.producthunt.com/upco...). As part of this launch, I'm trying to figure out which data analytics tools to use to improve our website, messaging and most importantly, our product. I was thinking of the following analytics stack: 1. Google Analytics for traffic data 2. HotJar / Fullstory for UX/UI and visitor recordings 3. Segment for event tracking and quantitive data Are there any other tools that you've been using and can recommend? Do you think we're missing something? Thanks!

Analyzing traffic from Product Hubs

Launched in 2022, Product Hubs are your permanent company page on Product Hunt, different from your launch pages.

I recently ran an experiment analyzing organic traffic from these hubs over 30 days. Here's what I learned.

What’s the scrappiest experiment you’ve run to validate an idea?

Early-stage building is full of hacks and sometimes the fastest, scrappiest experiments teach you more than months of proper work.

I ve heard of people testing demand with:

  • A fake door sign-up button that went nowhere (but proved interest)

  • A quick landing page with nothing behind it

  • Cold DMs to potential users with a mockup

  • Even just a Google Form dressed up as a product

What's your 4 favorite marketing tools?
For me: 1. Canva for creating visuals 2. GTM (Google Tag Manager) for adding codes on the website without developer -_- 3. Yandex Metrica - for tracking heatmaps and clicks on a website 4. ActiveCampaign for email marketing

How do you test your product before launch?

I recently came across what the majority calls "vibe coding" and I am addicted. As I am a marketing guy, I couldn't resist in creating not one, not two, but 8 apps, which are basically systems to solve my own problems and frustrations.

However, I couldn't help but notice that all these tools are far from perfect. Lovable, Replit (which I use extensively now) say they did something, but in reality, they made only the surface.

As a team, how willing are you to test new tools vs use proven ones?
Today we launched the early access list to TimeTo, a AI-powered time management platform for teams. We want to test it with nimble and tech-savvy teams. How willing are you to test something new with your team vs on your own? Here's the launch: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

What's the biggest problem you face when A/B testing your funnel?

A/B testing is supposed to systematically isolate winning and losing acquisition funnel content.

My biggest struggle, by FAR, is understanding why people bounce from my landing page after clicking through my ad.

While visiting SF recently, I saw @PostHog ads everywhere. Most analytics platforms (like Posthog, @Amplitude

Best Way to Collect User Feedback?

Hey Hunters, I know that user feedback is very important when building a product, especially for startups. The problem is, I m still figuring out the best way to collect it effectively.

Right now, I m debating between:

Email: Sending out direct emails to users. But how should I structure them? Short & casual or more structured surveys?
In-App: Using a widget or pop-up inside the app. But where and when is the best moment to ask?
Feedback Tools: There are so many. Which ones are actually worth it?

⚡️ What's the best AI UI builder right now?

I m building landing pages for my next product and exploring AI UI tools that actually help ship faster.

Curious to hear what s working for you from the apps like Lobable or v0

I've tested both and cannot choose what tool is better to buy. Maybe there are better tools?

What tools do you use for setting up social media promo campaigns?

I've been in social media marketing for nearly five years, but with AI advancing, I suspect my role in ad setup may soon become unnecessary.

I used to set up promo campaigns manually using native platform tools (which already applied some AI, like automated texts or ad placement, viz. Facebook Business Manager).

Question to all Product Marketers & Product Managers: what tools do you use every week?
I've been in PMM for almost 7 years and I'd love to see if I'm missing some cool tooling to work more efficiently. So, what tools do you use for - user research, - market research, - crafting persona & job stories & user journey, - feature feedback & feature prioritizing & roadmap planning, - developing & implementing go-to-market strategies, - creating positioning, - planning all PMM activities, syncing with the team, managing other marketers & product people in your team Super curious to learn from other product people here

I went to MAU Vegas so you don’t have to: GTM lessons for mobile app builders

Just got back from MAU Vegas 2025, where I spent a few days nerding out on GTM tech stacks with folks from consumer apps, gaming, fintech, and lifecycle platforms. If you're building or scaling a mobile-first app, here s the distilled version of what top-performing teams are actually doing right now minus the vendor hype.

What s essential in 2025

The consensus was pretty clear: besides AI everything, the modern GTM tech stack for mobile apps boils down to five key components:

Growth Hacks I'm considering - need your inputs
I'm building Draftly, an AI writing assistant for content creators and marketing teams. Here's where I am and what I'm exploring: Current Situation I've got: - A solid AI writing tool that content creators love - Strong initial interest from early users - Positive feedback on core features - Growing user base but looking to scale faster What I'm currently testing: Cold Outreach: I'm thinking about reaching out to content marketing agencies and in-house teams. Has anyone cracked the code on getting meetings without being "just another tool" in their inbox? Conversion Strategy: My current focus is on: - Optimizing the trial-to-paid journey - Reducing friction in the payment process - Making onboarding more engaging - Building sticky features users can't live without :) What I need help with: 1. How are you handling demo bookings that actually show up? 2. What's working for you in terms of trial conversions? 3. Any creative approaches to stand out in the crowded AI writing space? Would love to hear from other founders who've successfully scaled their tools, especially in the content creation space. What unexpected tactics/hacks worked for you? Edit: I'm really interested in strategies that worked in the last 6-12 months, given how quickly the market is evolving.
