About

I’m Baltazar — 19, originally from Colombia, and an incoming student at Babson College, where I’ll be diving deep into entrepreneurship and business innovation. I’m currently building Probado, a platform that helps early-stage startups validate their MVPs through vetted testers and AI-powered feedback. It’s designed to make product testing smarter, faster, and more affordable for founders. The website will be launching in a week or so and I am so exited to share and get feedback! I am passionate about solving real problems, learning by doing, and collaborating with other builders. Always open to feedback, partnerships, and startup convos — let’s connect and build something great together!

What's your best growth hack for your product?

I've worked as the Head of Growth for a product company before launching my own startup. I used to spend considerable amount of time every day researching for ideas and hacks that'd help our product grow quickly.

I wish to mention two hacks that gave us the best ROI:

💡 What problem did you originally set out to solve with your product?

I ve seen a lot of makers (myself included) start building with one idea, then pivot completely after talking to users.

I launched Waivify a simple digital waiver tool because I noticed yoga instructors and personal trainers still using paper or clunky PDFs for liability waivers. It started as a weekend build. Now it s used by solo business owners to simplify their client onboarding.

But along the way, I realized I wasn t just solving waivers I was helping service pros feel more legit and reduce admin anxiety.

So I m curious:

Website is live 🚀 Now how do I make my Product Hunt launch actually work?

Quick update the Probado site is finally live. It feels great to see it come together, but now I m looking at what s next: the Product Hunt launch and I want to make it count. For anyone new: I m Baltazar, 19, building Probado a platform where early-stage founders can get paid, structured feedback from vetted testers on their MVPs. You choose what you want tested, only pay for what you need, and our AI helps turn feedback into actionable suggestions and product comparisons. We ve got about 40 testers onboarded and the MVP is ready. I ve seen a lot of PH launches that look great but don t seem to actually lead to traction. I want this to be more than just a badge. I want feedback, users, momentum and I don t want to mess it up by going in blind. So for those of you who ve launched on PH before: What actually moved the needle in terms of attention or signups? What should I be preparing before launch day (copy, comments, DMs, emails )? Should I launch solo, or get help from a hunter? What s something you did wrong or forgot that you d fix next time? Appreciate any tips. I ve put so much into building this now I just want to give it the best possible shot. Baltazar
