The Ambient Daily Briefing connects to your calendar and scours trusted sources to prep you for every meeting. Fundraising mode builds detailed investor dossiers. Delivered daily to your inbox—no new tool to learn. Built for Founders; activates in minutes.
I’m Lawrence, co-founder/CEO of Ambient. We built the Ambient Daily Briefing for founders and operators who are back-to-back and still expected to show up razor-sharp for every meeting—especially investor calls.
What it is: a presidential-style, AI-powered briefing that shows up in your inbox every morning to help you crush the day 💪. No new tool to learn, no tabs to juggle—just open your 7AM briefing email and you’re ready.
Why it’s different:
Set up in minutes. Connect Google Calendar or Outlook and you’ll get your first briefing within minutes.
Multiple data sources. Our briefing agent scours LinkedIn, Perplexity, Web search, your meetings data, and more to give you context that actually moves the conversation forward.
Founder-tuned. Our system prompts are written from a founder’s perspective—fundraising, hiring, board, pipeline, priorities.
Deep-dive dossiers. Every calendar event has a one-click dossier: attendees, org backgrounds, talking points, overlaps, open questions, and next-step suggestions.
Investor meetings mode. For VC conversations we go deep on fund + partner background, conversation starters, notable investments, theses, red flags, and areas of alignment—so you open strong and make it to the next meeting.
Ultra-secure AI note taker. Ambient’s secure note taker will feed context into your Daily Briefing, surfacing decisions to be made, blockers, and more.
Plays nicely with your stack. Works with Google Calendar & Outlook; pulls meeting context from Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet.
Delivered where you already live—your inbox. That’s the whole point: better prep with zero workflow change.
🎁 Free trial is live—connect your calendar and see your first briefing today. We are offering 15 days free for PH.
We’d love your feedback:
What context would make tomorrow morning’s briefing perfect for you?
Any must-have sources we should add next?
Thanks for checking us out—excited to hear what you think and iterate fast with this community.
@ltrain Congrats Lawrence! super sharp concept. If you nail inbox delivery and founder-tuned context, what’s the one new data source you think would make Ambient indispensable?
@cruise_chen Thanks Cruise. A couple of our investors are testing it for LP calls. They are also using it for briefing docs for the startups they meet. Our sales briefings are also pretty good, as are our iternal meeting dossiers (pulling from our notetaker). Over time you will see us start to build more specific treatments for various call types.
When we started building the Daily Briefing, the challenge was clear:
How do you reliably deliver a “presidential-style” daily briefing from an unpredictable mix of data sources (calendar, LinkedIn, Perplexity, meeting transcripts, web) without overwhelming the user or hallucinating?
A few engineering choices we made that I’d love feedback on:
Data fusion → Instead of just hitting one model with one prompt, we built an agentic pipeline that stages retrieval from multiple APIs (calendar, LinkedIn, Perplexity, etc.), makes key decisions, filters for relevancy, normalizes, fact-checks, and compress into a one-page format.
Time sensitivity → We built a scheduling/orchestration system that generates your briefing just in time (e.g. 7AM local), so it can pull the freshest data without lagging your inbox.
Security first → Everything runs in a secure SOC-2 friendly architecture; we treat leadership data as crown jewels.
Founder-tuned prompting → Instead of generic assistant behavior, our system prompt is written from a founder/CoS perspective (fundraising, hiring, board prep, pipeline). That’s a surprisingly non-trivial engineering constraint — we’re constantly tuning so tone matches use case.
What I’m curious about:
If you’re also building AI products, how are you handling multi-source retrieval + hallucination risk?
Do you think daily “briefing as a format” is sticky enough, or should we lean harder into real-time workflows (meeting prep, follow-up)?
Any other technical pitfalls you’ve run into building products meant to be read every single morning?
Would love to jam with other makers on how you’re tackling similar challenges.

Excited to see the Agents you are building for CEOs and the Investor meeting Mode. Would love to know more about the agents and your integrations?
Would you be integrating with something like Gamma API to have great outputs from the meeting content?
Thanks, @thealchemist786! You’re reading right off our roadmap. Our focus is on capturing and structuring meeting context (briefings, dossiers, investor insights) in a way that downstream tools like Gamma can use to shine. With their API now available, we’re excited about pushing outputs directly into Gamma so you get polished narratives and decks from the same data that fuels the CEO briefing.
@thealchemist786 Thanks Sandy. I will give you one example of an Agent we built. It's called the Qualifier. It's only job is to look at calendar event and decide what kind of meeting it is. Is it a sales call? An investor pitch? An interview? A board call? This designation will determine the kind of dossier we generate.
Yes, we are incredibly excited to play with the Gamma API. We demo'd Gamma on stage today giving an AI Keynote to a room full of senior EAs. It's powerful, and definitely a workflow that the Office of the CEO cares very much about.

Congrats on the launch! This sounds like a game-changer for staying prepped.
@rajpurohit_vijesh I've been leaning on it for about a month. Using the briefing is enough to get me ready, but for big meetings tapping through the dossier is the way to go.

Interesting approach! How do you make sure the sources you pull from stay up-to-date and accurate? For example, if an investor recently shifted focus or changed firms, would that show up in the briefing?
@aria_bruce1 Great question. Our briefing agent runs a fresh, real-time search for each meeting, so shifts like a partner changing firms or a new thesis are captured at generation time. We use a layered accuracy pass to cross-check multiple sources, preferring primary pages (firm sites/LinkedIn/news), enforcing recency, and dropping anything we can’t verify—so the briefing reflects the latest, reliable facts.
@aria_bruce1 Thanks Aria. We use a lot of sources and do a lot of cross checking. We keep confidence scores on everything, and if information falls below that confidence score we flag it. And we also include a section of things we are not sure about / need to be verified. One of the nice things about the Investor persona is that it's their job to be public and findable. There are not many VCs that make any big changes without a blog post, tweet, substack 😅
👋 Hey Product Hunt, I’m Taylor, co-founder of Ambient.
The part of the Daily Briefing I’m most excited about is Investor Meetings Mode. For me, those calls are the ones that keep you up at night. You only get one shot, and half the time prep means flipping through LinkedIn and scattered notes five minutes before.
We wanted to change that. Now if you’ve got a VC meeting on the calendar, your briefing pulls in the stuff that actually matters — fund details, partner background, recent investments, things to push on, things to watch out for. It’s all there before you walk in.
Where we’re headed: not just helping you show up prepared, but helping you navigate the raise itself — spotting the right investors, tracking conversations over time, and knowing when to lean in or move on. Basically, giving founders a clearer map through the chaos of fundraising.
I’d love your input here → what other “modes” would you actually use? Board meetings? Exec hires? Customer pitches?
Drop your ideas in the comments — we’re building this in the open and want to hear what would be most valuable.

Love using Ambient for my pitch meetings with founders. I've built a template so it knows exactly what areas to focus its notes on, and how to structure it in a way that's super digestible to me. I also love my daily briefings.
@rob_rav Thanks Rob, yeah, you guys are expert users. Rob is referring to Ambient's secure note taker (optimized for leadership meetings). We expose the prompts to our customers, meaning you can customize exactly the output that you want. These meeting notes of course feed into the Daily Briefing. The Daily Briefing is the rug that ties the room together, 5 points if you can guess the movie reference.
