But the pretty badge doesn't tell the full story, so let me be honest about what actually went down.

The market has never been this crowded. AI has made it possible to go from idea to shipped product in days which means Product Hunt is now flooded with launches every single week. More products, more noise, more competition for the same front page.

So I've been thinking about this a lot: what actually separates the products that make it to the top from the ones that quietly disappear by noon?

From where I sit as a builder, here's what I genuinely believe matters:

Meta, Amazon and other big companies have started laying off workers because AI will take your jobs.

AI agents are increasingly making real decisions in businesses. They qualify leads, respond to customers, analyze data, and sometimes trigger actions that affect revenue or customer experience. As these systems move from suggesting to actually deciding, mistakes become inevitable.

When that happens, responsibility becomes unclear. The user configured the system, the company built the product, and the underlying models often come from another provider. If an AI agent makes the wrong call and it impacts a customer or revenue, where should accountability actually sit?

Curious how others are thinking about this. Who should be responsible in such cases, and are there any legal guidelines or draft regulations emerging around this?

We added OAuth at #73. It made the binary fat. So we ripped out the dependency and rewrote the MCP client in 300 lines (ref #99). OAuth will become an optional component if you need it, it's there. If you don't, you don't carry it.

Hey all, TilePix has received a new update covering some performance fixes, but i'd like to talk more on the new feature 'Recording' which you can find by going to the settings menu and tapping the recording tab:

This will enable you to have the option of recording the entire creative process via capturing frames in the background for every action on either canvas, and you will then have a video which you can export.
the slider you see at the bottom of the preview allows instant scrubbing so you can get an idea of the output result.

When I first started, I believed that as long as I built a great product, it would naturally become popular. But as I zoomed out, I realized the market is incredibly competitive. Having a good product alone isn t enough to truly convince users.

That s when I began building my presence on social media creating content about myself, sharing my journey, and talking about the product I m building. I ve come to see this as a very effective way to build trust and spark genuine interest not only in what I make, but also in who I am as a founder.

Launched last week, open-source frontier model @MiniMax M2.7 scores 56.2% on SWE Bench Pro, converging towards the best proprietary models like @Claude by Anthropic Opus 4.6.

Pricing token consumption is hard.

I ve been thinking a lot about how most mobile teleprompter apps still feel off. They just scroll at a fixed speed, and you end up adjusting your speech to match the script instead of the other way around. It works, but it never feels natural.

I ve been building Telea to solve this on desktop, focusing on a more fluid experience that reacts to how you speak. Now I m considering bringing that same idea to mobile.

Before I do, I m curious:

Would you actually use a teleprompter like this on your phone?
Do you see mobile as more useful than desktop in your workflow?

Questions:
-> Ubuntu + x86_64 only. No ARM, no Mac (unless you run a VM) that cuts out a big chunk of hobbyists and researchers right away
-> Prompt sensitivity is a real concern if vague prompts give generic results, the "just describe it in plain English" pitch needs some asterisks
-> Multi-robot setups are experimental, which is a big gap for anything beyond single-robot prototyping
-> Requires internet to process every prompt so your AI copilot goes dark without a connection, even for local sims
-> Still early (v1.0.15 beta) rough edges are expected, but production teams should be cautious
-> The 60% stat frames simulation as a problem to skip, not a skill to build engineers who skip that struggle badly at sim-to-real transfer
-> Terminal-only, Gazebo-specific workflow is a hard limit if your stack uses Isaac Sim or Webots
-> And any proprietary AI agent in your core workflow = vendor lock-in risk
Curious how it handles URDF validation and collision mesh accuracy?
None of these are dealbreakers for students or solo researchers. But for engineering teams evaluating it seriously, these constraints matter.
Answers:
1. Our initial reach is for robotics developers who already use ROS and simulators, so they are already on linux. Most of the robotics frameworks are optimised and built for linux. You will have a hard time figuring things out on Mac with the all the open source tools and libraries.
2. Definitely. The more articulate you are with explaining what you want, better drift will run. "describe in plain english" is to communicate that this is better than before where devs have to hustle on their own.
3. Yes, and that is why we are solving it, and making this better.
4. We are working to bring integration for local deployments.
5. We are monitoring all bugs and crashes in production.
6. The skill to master simulations is not to be skipped at all, we want to accelerate the skill up instead with Drift, so that engineers actually focus on the physics and behaviour of robots in the sim.
7. That's why we are bringing MuJoCo, Isaac Sim and other simulators and plugin support really soon.
8. If the vendors are getting your work done from months to days, that is not a worry. And we will always have competitors so you have plenty of options! :)
