1,100 products launched in a single 24 hour period
by•

The last high watermark was back in April, when we hit 1000 products launched in a single day.
Before that, it was 600 products four months ago.
This is why it's more important to get your narrative, positioning, and ICP straight before launching in the leaderboard!

That was totally predictable, the inevitable result of vibecoding.
@itsluo Yeah the speed is the easy part now. Claude Code over a weekend and you have a product.
Thanks for sharing! Do you have any advice on HOW to get your narrative, positioning, and ICP straight? Best practice in your POV, I mean.
I'm new at PH, so I'd love to learn more. ✨🙏🏻
1000 products in a day is actually insane, but super cool to see how this platform and community is growing. As we're planning our own launch, we already did have a consultation call with Chris (highly recommend it to anyone btw, we learned so much). But I'm wondering, both @chrismessina and everyone else on this thread, if you can distill 2-3 pieces of 'product wisdom' from your time here and your involvement in product launches, what would they be?
I can go first (haven't launched yet, but have been watching the community and launches here very closely) - thoughtful, speedy founder/team responses on launch day. It seems to me products with active teams end up higher on the daily ranking + as a user, my perception of them is more positive (and I would bet it helps with LLM visibility and SEO, too)
I've been here on PH for just about a year, and it's simply mind-blowing how things have changed.
I used to believe this platform was great for putting a new product out there and seeing how people react.
But right now, I guess it's become incredibly difficult to get noticed.
Must be really hard for those who land in the last positions!
I guess PH alone is not enough anymore, and makers need to find supporters/followers on other platforms, too, like LinkedIn.
Damn, the AI wave just turned Product Hunt into a mosh pit. Congrats on the new record ... and good luck to everyone trying to stand out!
