xpander.ai - Backend and Frontend for your AI Agents

by
Tired of workflow automation platforms that aren't really agentic, agent frameworks that leave the infra work to you, and Agent Builder tools that are too opinionated and basic? xpander.ai's Agent Platform is the complete solution for AI Agent Dev and Ops

Hey Product Hunt 👋

We’re the xpander.ai team, an AI Agent platform built specifically for AI Engineers, giving you the ultimate toolbox for building and running agents.

Check out some quick demo videos: Realtime agent testing | Tool generator and MCP server composition | Create agent instructions automatically | Self-hosted infrastructure

With xpander, you get:

🖥️A "frontend" for your AI Agents - webhook triggering, Add to Slack, ChatGPT-like UI, MCP triggering

⚙️A "backend" for your AI Agents - stateful database, server-side tool calling, agent runtime via containers, MCP server hosting

🌐 An Agent Workbench that doesn’t lock you out of code - build and test your agent visually for super fast iterations, then continue in code, if you like.

☁️ Deploy agents to a fully managed runtime on the xpander Cloud, or self-host in your own VPC/Kubernetes without even talking to us - fully self-service, self-deployed infrastructure for agents.

🛠️ Agentic tool capabilities on steroids-

 🟣huge pre-built tools library

🟣upload OpenAPI Specs and get agent-ready tools (we automatically enrich the specs)

🟣use them in agents, compose them into MCP servers

 🟣bring your own MCP servers

👉 The works.

Why are we here?

Because we've seen that builders are frustrated with the the current approaches for building and running AI Agents. For example:

❌ AI Agent frameworks – you finally find one you actually like developing with, but to move the agent from your laptop to running in the cloud, you’re stuck wiring up infra, databases, auth, scale, and observability yourself. Or worse - waiting for your Devops or IT teams. ⏳

❌ Workflow automation tools – rigid step blocks with LLM-oriented steps sprinkled in, without any sign of actual, autonomous, AI Agent building abilities.

❌ No-code Agent builder tools – easy to start, but too basic. No access to real code and agent logic, can't achieve anything complex, and no way to fit them into your actual software lifecycle.

So, we built the platform to solve it.

Think of it as the Supabase of AI Agents - everything you need to go from a cool demo to a production-grade AI Agent in hours, not months.

@ran_sheinberg Congrats on the launch! The visual agent workbench that doesn't lock you out of code is brilliant - finally a platform that bridges the gap between no-code simplicity and full developer control!

Ran Sheinberg

@kay_arkain that's a big part of what we're aiming for :)

Tammy wolfson

@ran_sheinberg  @kay_arkain Thanks!! Sign up at https://app.xpander.ai, and try it out! We're for any questions :)

Ignasi Plaza Alvaro

@ran_sheinberg Congrats on the launch! Really like the approach, most agent frameworks either fall short or get messy when scaling.

Super curious to try that mix between visual builder and real code. Great work, team!

Tammy wolfson
Ran Sheinberg

@ignasi_plaza absolutely - building in the workbench and then moving to code is super useful, and one of our users' favorite feature. Let us know how it goes! And thanks for the kind words!

Ignasi Plaza Alvaro

@ran_sheinberg Will do! Love that you kept both paths open, feels like the right balance between flexibility and speed.

I’ll share feedback once I give it a proper spin. Thanks for the reply!

Blake Keeley

@ran_sheinberg Nice launch! The Supabase-for-agents analogy clicks. What’s been the most popular use case so far among your beta users?

Hi Ran,

Massive congrats on the launch of xpander.ai! It’s exciting to see a platform built to truly empower AI engineers without the typical devops headaches.

I specialize in helping technical founders like you accelerate user growth and turn early adopters into a loyal community. Whether it's through targeted outreach, strategic partnerships, or data-driven campaigns, I’d love to help you:

Reach more of your ideal AI/ML engineers and dev teams

Increase sign-ups with messaging that resonates

Scale your early traction into sustainable, long-term growth

You’ve built something meaningful — now let’s make sure the right people experience it.

Would you be open to a brief call this week to discuss scaling xpander.ai’s impact together?

Looking forward to connecting,

Barnabas

  • @ran_sheinberg the post is really nice the concept must be very interesting

Ben Lang

congrats on the launch! seems useful for devs building AI agents

Ran Sheinberg

@benln it really helps sprint agent development forward 🚀

Jason

Congrats on the launch!!!

The combination of runtime, testing with rollback, and agent hosting is exactly what many teams are looking for.

Do you plan to expand support for other popular AI frameworks soon?

Ran Sheinberg

@jason123 yes, we're almost done with making our integration layer completely framework agnostic. Drop us a line and we'd love to show it to you when ready 🤝

Aryan

This looks like the complete solution for building and deploying agents, which is exactly what the space has been missing. I'm especially excited about the testing environments with rollbacks and the ability to self-host. That's a huge deal for ensuring reliability and security. This is exactly the kind of tool that will help move agents from cool demos to actual, production-ready applications.

Ran Sheinberg

@aryan_vashisth thank you! we're also super excited about self-hosting. It's really the MLFlow equivalent of AI Agents.

siwei liu

Nice produce

Tammy wolfson

@siwei_liu1 thank you! here for any questions :)

YaRan

good luck with everything!

Tammy wolfson

@yaran  thank you! here for any questions :)

Xpander is the full-stack dev platform built for AI engineers MCP connectors, stateful DB, AI gateway, rollback-ready test environments, and agent hosting. Cloud or self-hosted, it’s the studio where serious agents get designed, tested, and shipped.

Tammy wolfson

@vivek_sharma_25  here for any questions :)

Ran Luo

Xpander.ai looks incredibly robust! I'd love to trial the platform to experience its full-stack capabilities for AI agent development.

Ran Sheinberg

@ransixi Everything is full self-service! Sign up at https://app.xpander.ai and let me know if any questions 🤝

Tammy wolfson

@ransixi Thanks! Try it out, we're here for any questions!

Abdul Rehman

Does xpander work better for single agents or can it handle multi-agent systems too?

Ran Sheinberg

@abod_rehman handles multi-agent systems out of the box! check out this template in our docs: https://docs.xpander.ai/Examples/templates/03-support-agent - super easy to set up and start customizing. Or you can start from scratch and simply attach agents. Let us know if any questions 🤝

Musa Molla

Supabase of AI Agents, Curious- what’s been the hardest part for devs so far: infra setup, scaling, or debugging?

Ran Sheinberg

@musa_molla we're seeing challenges across the board with various aspects, but our large customers are definitely struggling the most with the infrastructure setup - if you think about it - they have to replicate a large part of their tech stack (which today is used to build and ship their own digital product). But now, they need to build it for AI Agents. Self-deploying vector databases, memory DBs, AI gateways, Tool calling infrastructure with auth and scale-ready is a tough job. We're giving them all of that in one package ⬆️

Tammy wolfson

@musa_molla What's been the most challenging part for you? :)
