@pratikmundra Congrats on the launch! Upvoted! The "feels human" positioning is crucial. We have all experienced terrible voice AI that completely misses context and makes us desperately hunt for the "talk to a human" option.

Quick question: How do the agent templates work? Are they industry-specific (e.g., "healthcare appointment scheduler") or more generic building blocks?

@tony_xiao A very valid question indeed! A lot of the latency gains come from architectural choices - we built a custom streaming layer between ASR, LLM, and TTS, so all three run in parallel instead of sequentially. Combine that with optimized context handling and low-hop infra, and we’re consistently hitting sub-800ms even with function calls.

how do you manage when to divert to a human operator in the instance of a complex health need (in the insurance example for example)?

@mcval_osborne Great question - and totally agree, that’s super important for cases like health or insurance. The simplest way on SigmaMind AI is to use function calling in the response node to trigger a transfer call whenever a complex or sensitive query comes up. You can also build more complex AI agents and use the analyze customer message node to detect when a customer needs human support, and then use transfer call node to automatically route the call to a live agent. Both options make the handoff feel seamless and natural.

@mcval_osborne In the agent builder you can choose to setup call transfers either based on intent (more accurate) or have that condition setup in the prompt itself — such that the LLM decides when to transfer the call.

Moreover, you can add your custom tools to these agents without worrying about stitching together the underlying infra. You also have multiple TTS voice providers and models to choose from!

Love the idea of one platform for voice, chat, and email AI agents. The templates and function calling must save a lot of time. Quick question: How does the system route calls to the right department live when customers ask different questions? without needing to call the customer back?
