Learning with Scrimba is a lot of fun and different from other platforms I’ve tried. They’ve managed to create a unique experience with their live coding approach, which feels like a bit of magic.
Right now, I’m struggling to find the motivation to continue my learning path... Staying consistent can be tough.
I’ve already learned a lot and I’m excited to get back into the rhythm of things so I can complete the frontend career path... and once I do, dive into their full-stack courses and explore even more possibilities.

@masilli It is indeed hard to keep up motivation for a long period of time. For that reason, my advice to self-motivated learners is to treat boredom as poison. Stay away from it as much as you can! If you find yourself bored with a course or a project: move on! And that includes Scrimba courses. Best of luck getting into the rhythm again!

Scrimba's interactive player has always been a standout way to learn coding concepts, so seeing it applied to a fullstack curriculum is really promising. That feeling of being able to pause the video and immediately tinker with the exact code the instructor was using, without switching windows or setting anything up, is just incredibly efficient for learning. It really bridges the gap between watching a concept and actually doing it. Adding AI feedback on top of that seems like a smart move to help solidify understanding. Looks like a really solid resource for anyone tackling fullstack development.

@zongze_x Hello Mike, thanks very much for the thoughtful comment! 🫶 It has always been our mission to minimise the friction caused by set up, and get people's hands on the keyboard ASAP. Now we've added AI feedback to the mix, we think we're one step closer to offering a true pair-programming learning experience for all our students.
Finally, a place to learning Full-stack without leaving the browser! Kudos to the Scrimba Team!

@wahedsikder Thank you for your comment Wahed! Let us know if there's anything you'd love to see next on Scrimba!
@leanne_r Hi, shadcn would be great addition or perhaps a simpler one maybe DaisyUI course goes great with Next.js!
Scrimba
@wahedsikder Thanks a lot, Wahed!
@perborgen Anytime man!

@reid_kimball Oh really, that's awesome! Congrats on launching that, and best of luck going forward 🚀
The long wait is now over! Good luck on the launch!
I wouldn't be where I am now without Scrimba. I wrotemy first lines of code through Scrimba 3 years ago, started from scratch with the free HTML and CSS course, then became a Pro subscriber, completed the Front-End Career Path, got my first freelance gig, joined the Scrimba team as a Bootcamp mentor, and now running my studio.
Thanks Scrimba, and for sure my first full-stack steps will be taken by your side too :)

@geoff_lm This is so cool to hear, stories like yours are why I continue to love teaching!
Amazing work !! Been using scrimba for a whlie now, really love the way it works. Good job on releasing backend, started NextJs already!
Have you guys thought about Docker course?
Scrimba
@dulshad Thanks Dulshad, best of luck with Next.js! We're not planning Docker right away unfortunately, as the platform doesn't lend itself that well to teach it. But I've gotten a couple of requests about it today already, so perhaps we'll need to figure a way to do it in a good manner. Keep an eye out on our course roadmap on our site for it 🙌
Scrimba was how I learned React with Bob Ziroll. Was a blessing to have Scrimba early on in my career. Thank you!
Scrimba
@campak Bob is a legend. Lots of people got going with React thanks to him!
Scrimba
@campak I’m so glad my courses have helped!
Very cool, always love the mission of educational tools, especially in the coding space, would actually love to see Scrimba rolled out in high schools, curious what audience this is mainly made for?
Scrimba
@noah_van_rijn Most of our users are either career changers and university students. We're mainly targeting people who want job-ready skills, so not necessarily high school students. But we do have quite a few of those as well, as I've found their needs overlap a lot with our intro modules. And they are equally excited about the interactivity, so we'd love to roll it out to mode high schools. Any tips in that regard?
@perborgen First thing I would think about is reaching out to high schools themself and make a special intro program for those students.
I have been so excited for this course, and the team has worked so hard to make it happen. The Scrimba community is amazing, and it feels like everyone is always there for each other. This is just another great example of another great course produced by Scrimba.
Scrimba
@ryan_juan_carlos Yes, I'm super grateful for the amazing community we have! People really like learning in a group, and derive joy from helping others, which is such a win-win!

@bookercodes Thanks a lot Alex! It's been a really tricky challenge to integrate it into the Scrimba format. We're using WebContainers under the hood, which does the heavy lifting of running Node.js in the browser.
