I love, love, love this travel hacker tool. Itβs SUPER simple and easy to use: I just shared my flight and booking number and with a few clicks my claim was complete. About 4 weeks later I received an email letting me know that I am entitled to $680 in compensation from the airline, and I had a check nearly 2 days later.
@writerpollock thanks for hunting us!
Flight delays, cancellations and overbookings are part of travel - what matters is what happens next. We're here to spread the word and help passengers get the compensation they're legally entitled to.

Just tried to make a claim but it looks like this is only for people in the EU - is that correct?
Hey @anodigital,
The Regulation is applicable for transatlantic flights as well. So for instance, if you're flying with American Airlines from London to New York, you're entitled to compensation! Same goes for a flight out of New York, as long as it is operated by a European carrier.
Passenger rights for domestic flights in the US are rather different and you are mostly entitled to compensation if you get bumped off the flight. Here's more information: https://blog.claimcompass.eu/usp...
