The Strategic Battle: Data Ownership vs. Model Power

[Podcast The Tech Lounge]
Episode 05 is live.
In the fifth episode of The Tech Lounge, we unpack the massive shift away from algorithm obsession and into the highly contested world of data ownership:
How the tech industry has transitioned from centralized drilling to decentralized "data fracking" to extract microscopic bits of ambient data.
Why relying on unstructured data without semantic context or governance leads to catastrophic "data drift" and AI hallucinations.
How researchers are actively developing a new frontier of data governance using invisible "canary tokens" to trap rogue AI models.
A relaxed lounge-style discussion exploring the biggest ideas behind this new era of AI.

SDGs = DX + ESG + AI + IoT + Big Data + Cloud

The workshop with PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), organized by New Ocean Group and AIQuinta, offered a practical perspective on the journey of applying AI in enterprises.
With the theme Artificial Intelligence: From Technology to Business Operations, the discussion did not stop at viewing AI as a trend, but focused on how technology can be implemented and integrated into real operational processes.
A notable highlight was how DX (digital transformation), ESG, AI, IoT, Big Data, and Cloud were framed as parts of a unified ecosystem, collectively supporting enterprises in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).
From data collection (IoT), storage and processing (Cloud, Big Data), to analysis and optimization (AI), every layer needs to be integrated into operational workflows (DX) and aligned with measurable ESG indicators.
A key takeaway from the session:
AI does not create value if it remains only a technology layer. Real value emerges when AI is directly tied to operational problems and long-term business strategy.
The session was not long, but it clearly illustrated that digital transformation and AI adoption are no longer optional - they are prerequisites for enterprises seeking sustainable growth in today s environment.

BookRAG (Hierarchical Structure-aware Index-based Approach)

A framework designed for complex documents that keeps the original structure instead of flattening it.

It is powered by BookIndex (Tree + Graph):

- Hierarchical tree rebuilds document structure (like a table of contents)
