Why does CRM work still feel like a second job?
by•
I built ChatRM because I kept seeing the same pattern over and over:
Sales conversations happen in real time.
CRM work usually occurs later.
That gap is where deals go stale, pipelines drift from reality, and teams end up doing CRM cleanup to keep reports “clean.”
ChatRM takes a different approach. The CRM work happens in Slack right when the intent is clear, so accuracy is a byproduct rather than a chore.
I’m curious how others experience this:
What part of CRM work feels the most like busywork?
Where do deals usually start to fade in your process?
Have you tried running parts of your CRM inside Slack or chat tools before?
Would love to hear what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you wish CRMs did less of.
