GA4 Is Breaking Your Data — We Built a Simpler, Privacy-First Alternative

by

Who am I?

I’m an indie founder who got tired of lying analytics.

For years, I worked with websites where GA4 numbers never matched reality: traffic dropped overnight after consent banners, funnels broke because half of users never opted in GDPR discussions blocked any real progress.

At some point, analytics stopped being a source of truth and became a compliance problem.

Why we create CheckAnalytic.com?

Because website owners are stuck between three bad options:

1) GA4: Powerful, but complex, sampled, opaque, and heavily impacted by consent.

2) Server-side trackingж: Expensive, fragile, over-engineered for most sites.

3) Cookie-less tools: Often too simplistic or disconnected from real business needs.

CheckAnalytic exists to answer a simple question:

“How many real people are actually using my site — without legal risk or UX damage?”

What is CheckAnalytic (in plain terms)?

A privacy-first analytics tool that:

1) Does not use cookies.

2) Does not require consent banners for analytics.

3) Works by default under EU privacy rules, installs with one lightweight script.

4) Can run in parallel with GA4 for comparison.

No dark patterns. No legal gymnastics. No “trust us” black boxes.

What do clients actually gain?

1. Real numbers again: Traffic, pages, referrers, devices — without losing 30–60% of users to consent banners.

2. Simpler compliance: No cookies = no consent for analytics. Fewer risks, fewer lawyers, fewer meetings.

3. Better UX: One less banner fighting for user attention.

4. Lower operational overhead: No server-side tagging setups. No constant fixes after browser updates.

5. Transparency: What you see is what’s collected. No sampling, no hidden models.

Who is this for?

- SaaS founders tired of GA4 chaos.

- Agencies managing EU clients.

- Indie makers who want analytics, not analytics maintenance.

- Anyone who wants clarity over complexity.

What it’s not:

- Not a GA4 replacement for enterprise marketing teams.

- Not a surveillance tool.

- Not a growth-hacking toy.

It’s boring on purpose. Because analytics should be boring — and reliable.

Why Product Hunt?

I want real feedback from people who’ve felt this pain.

If GA4 works great for you — perfect.

If consent banners haven’t hurt your data — also fine.

But if you’re quietly thinking “this is broken, but everyone pretends it’s normal” — that’s exactly why CheckAnalytic exists.

Happy to answer hard questions.
