Tinybird helps data teams deliver real-time answers at scale through analytical API endpoints that take minutes to build, with no backend involved. It lets you:
Iβm not a data scientist nor have anything close to their requirements at my job and yet I know for a fact that the product development at Tinybird is solely user focused. Itβs convention over configuration optimized for speed and usability.
When I read "realtime API" I instantly assumed this was a way of exposing data through APIs over HTTP streaming or WebSocket. However, looking at the website and docs I believe my assumption and the initial impressions that "realtime API" gives is inaccurate.
@jorgesancha any chance you could please clarify?
Thanks for the question @leggetter! Our APIs are over HTTP, but not (yet) through web sockets. What we want is to enable anyone to build APIs over any amount of incoming data and, when we talk about real-time, we talk about exploiting the data as soon as it gets generated through very low latency ingestion and consumption.
