However here are some best practices to make the most of it.
Train a domain-specific Agent: Add your data sources and teach it your business logic, definitions, and rules so answers match how your team thinks .
Use the right chat mode: Stay in Concise for quick “what” answers, and switch to Deep Dive when you want the “why” and “how,” plus more context.
Turn chat into dashboards: Pin widgets directly from the chat, or create new widgets from scratch just by writing prompts.
Share where your team works: Embed dashboards in your tool or internal pages so everyone sees the same real-time updates.

Zero data storage: We analyze your schema (e.g., table headers) to build context and mapping, then query your DBs/DWs in real-time
Read-only access only: You're in full control disconnect anytime
Metadata storage: Schema can be stored in USA, Germany (EU), or India (Asia); delete anytime
Encrypted credentials: DB credentials & SSH keys use AES-256 encryption

We've learned a lot from our last launch, and the biggest takeaway from the community was this:
In the data business, you're either right every time or you don't have a product.
That's become the core of our product philosophy, and you can actually achieve 100% accuracy by tuning the agent.
We've also built features that help users share what they build on Supaboard with their teams, including a Slack bot for faster answers where people actually work.
Beyond that, we've matured significantly as a product @PostHog has been a game changer for us with accurate user data.

Congrats on the launch! Making BI both conversational and grounded in real business logic is a tough but important problem. How does Supaboard ensure that agent-generated answers stay aligned with evolving business rules and definitions over time, especially as data sources and metrics change?

We have multiple layers built to ensure answer accuracy.
You can add business knowledge by uploading PDF and docs, you can set rules and also create evals which will be strictly followed for every single answer. And, we do not store any data, so every answer is realtime, hence when the source or metrics change our answers update automatically.
