Sprig Concept & Usability Testing - Test designs and prototypes before you build

by
Sprig’s browser-based unmoderated testing makes it easy to learn if your ideas, concepts, and prototypes will land with users before you write a line of code. So you can build user-centric products that are more likely to succeed.

Hi everyone! One year ago in August we launched on Product Hunt with our new name, Sprig. Today, we are taking a huge leap forward by launching Concept & Usability Testing, which enables you to use Sprig for user research across the entire product development lifecycle. At Sprig, we believe you should research twice and build once so you can have more confidence that your designs will resonate with users. That’s what our mission is all about - making experiences that matter. Our new browser-based Concept & Usability functionality will have you testing ideas, designs, and prototypes in minutes, no matter if you’re a solo designer, founder, small team or large enterprise. You’ll be able to: - Conduct unmoderated tests with unlimited seats - Easily source participants by recruiting from within your product or using your favorite panel - Embed Figma prototypes with one click - Use 14 new templates so you don’t need to build test flows from scratch Plus, use Sprig’s in-product surveys to recruit existing users for more research and evaluate the effectiveness of your designs post-launch. Sprig wants to help you build research into every product decision you make so you can launch successful products and waste fewer resources. I’m thrilled that this launch makes that possible. Get started for free or check out our TechCrunch article to learn about our $30M funding round from existing investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Accel, as well as our newest investor, Figma Ventures, that will help us accelerate the development of our platform. Looking forward to your feedback!

Love the focus on testing here, so many tools coming out go straight to the build phase. How does the recruitment side work for sourcing participants?
Ryan Glasgow
@aaronoleary Great question! The most exciting part of testing with Sprig is the ability to ask people to opt into a test right within your product or app via a Sprig in-product survey. You can also send an email or test link to participants you source elsewhere, like panels.
Aaron O'Leary
@ryanglasgow Love that, is there any plans to bring in video surveys if they don't already exist in it?
Katie Mitchell
@ryanglasgow @aaronoleary We already have video surveys! Check them out in the free plan :)
Aaron O'Leary
@ryanglasgow @ksmitchell86 🏃‍♂️ running to check them out!

Wow, guys! You're rolling today! Keep going, great job!
Ryan Glasgow
@bidkaromaniuk ha, thanks!
This is really cool and useful! Is there anything like this on the market?
Katie Mitchell
@florin_biro Thank you! There are a few tools on the market, but none that help with research pre and post launch + the Sprig test taking experience is browser-based, which is different (and much better)! than most of the tools on the market today.
