My dear friend Ross Simmonds made this, and I think it's an awesome tool for content discovery. You just add some sources to your "crate" and BAM - all the content you need in a nice little feed. :)
Crate is a web platform that delivers content suggestions tailored to any interests or topics to help you share relevant content online. You upload a bit of information like URLs, usernames or keywords and Crate finds the best content for you to share. For example: if you add @RRHoover, Product Marketing and bothsidesofthetable.com to a Crate, we’d show you the best/recent links shared by Ryan, with the keyword Product Marketing and posts from the bothsidesofthetable.com.
The app is fully integrated with Buffer as their Suggestions featured helped inspire the concept. The team and I wanted to build an app that saved people time from looking around the web for new links to share on social and offering the flexibility to have the content suggestions tailored to whatever their needs :D

its brilliant, works really well ! one cool thing which I wouldn't imagine to be too hard to add (even at this stage after launch) would be to allow users to see which crate term generated a story.
For example I have entered 5/6 terms into mine and by seeing which ones are returning the most relevant results I could potentially remove some of the less accurate terms and improve my suggestions :)
Great product though ! GL with the launch, have shared with the social media team at the agency I work at.

@dredurr You're right. I'm a big fan of Buffer, love what their team has built and represent. We were heads down building Crate prior to the announcement that they'd be retiring the feature but it came as a shock. We're looking to fill the gap and go above and beyond by allowing users to tailor the content suggestions to whatever industry or topics are of interest.

Had the honor of being in on the Crate beta and...yay! Easy to find, relevant content for most disciplines appeared at my command. Like google with a content brain trained by Buffer? 💜
@spinoodle Hey Nicholas - We're not mobile ready yet but it's on the roadmap. The product currently sucks on mobile... Like really bad. We know that and are working to tackle that as our next priority. Thanks for checking it out!
