@aleksander_kaaberma Well done on bringing your idea to life! Wishing you continued success and great experiences. What’s one feature you’re particularly excited about?
Aleksander Kaaberma
@kjosephabraham Thanks for the kind words :) The feature I'm most excited about is how simple this is for clients.

The third picture🤣🤣 This is a really interesting idea and thank you for making this! Collecting user feedback can be such a hassle sometimes, even with some incentives, people still don't do it. Love how simple this product is for both sides. I'll recommend it to my friends! Good luck!

@kehui_guo Thanks Kehui, much appreciated

Congratulations on the launch... Is there a way to filter messages? like only show the important ones?
Aleksander Kaaberma
@sinikiwe_phahlane Hi, Right now you only filter comments based on url. But this is a very good suggestion on how to improve the product. Have some sort of importance ranking for every comment. :)

@aleksander_kaaberma thank you Sir

Congrats on the launch! By the way, is this available for web apps, or is it just for websites?
Aleksander Kaaberma
@josie_oy Hi! Simple Commenter works with any website hosted on the web, including web apps. While I haven't tested it with every complex system, the tool is standalone and should function independently of the web CMS being used.

Hi Aleksander, Streamlining client feedback for web developers could be really useful. I'm wondering how the system handles version control or tracking changes over time? Also, are there plans to add collaboration features for teams working on the same project? Congrats on the launch!
Aleksander Kaaberma
@kyrylosilin My initial goal was to solve a simple problem: replacing PDFs with direct comments on websites for quick feedback. So, you can "archive" completed tasks/comments. Regarding version control, if you make small changes to the website, the comments remain. However, structural changes might cause comments to get lost. Implementing comprehensive version control is complex and beyond the current scope. The focus is on a fast feedback loop for quick fixes. Hope this helps! :)

💡 Bright idea
Congrats on the launch @aleksander_kaaberma. Is the intention only for a website development client. Or can it be extended to general users? Good luck on the launch.
Aleksander Kaaberma
@njrobb Hi, thanks! Initially, I designed Simple Commenter for internal users/clients to streamline the feedback process, avoiding the hassle of screenshots and PDF comments. However, I've applied the tool to my homepage, and general users are also making comments. So, it's definitely applicable for a broader audience, though it might benefit from a slightly different UI. Great suggestion for version 2.0! :)

The ability to leave comments directly on the website is a great feature. Would it be possible to integrate this with a project management tool?
Aleksander Kaaberma
@memphys_sk I think that would be a fantastic addition! Integration would likely need to be tailored to each specific project management tool. I'm open to developing this further for long-term clients who see significant value in such a feature.
