Congratulations on the launch! I want to know if I can get user information about comments?
Aleksander Kaaberma
@zhuizhui Currently, no. I developed this tool primarily for internal/client use, such as on preview links, to make it as simple as possible for the client without requiring logins or adding any hassle on their end.

Congrats! I have tried. Being able to mark the problem areas at will is indeed a unique advantage.

Congratulations! I like the idea, simple yet useful. I think I may try it out for one of my products as I was thinking about gathering feedback in a more organized way. By the way, I love the roasting comments on screenshots!

@tymzap Haha, that's exactly how clients can be sometimes! 😄 Once you do test it out, reach out to me. I'd love to hear your feedback and help improve the tool!

Congrats on the launch, very cool idea to provide feedback on a live website. I can see it having loads of use-cases. A couple of thoughts was how can I tag my web designer to let them know that there is a new comment, or my developer to let them know that there is a problem with a form. The other thought was that is says "start for free" but there is no indication if this is a free trial or a freemium plan. PS. the lack of scroll bar made it difficult for me to move up and down the website

@peterclaridge Thanks for the feedback and the kind words! 😊 For notifying developers about new comments, I could automate email notifications or they can check the Simple Commenter dashboard. Integrating with project management tools is also a great idea, but it would need more development—something I'm open to for long-term clients. About "Start for Free," it’s a 1-month trial. I plan to refine the pricing and trial options based on user feedback, like with my other products. Thanks for pointing out the scroll bar issue too! Really appreciate your input! 😄

@aleksander_kaaberma You're welcome :) Although we use figma to leave comments on designs while they're in the prototype stage, a website is never finished, there's always going to be feedback on the live design, and the CEO is always going to have thoughts about the website copy on the live site 😁

It's great that you're here; we need to share your solution with the world. 🚀

SimpleCommenter.com looks promising, though I know there's still a lot of work to be done.
