Sounds like an awesome tool for transforming content! I've been thinking about turning my blog posts into podcasts, and Podcraftr looks like the perfect solution. The idea of cloning my own voice is super cool too. Congrats on the launch!

The idea of turning text into high-quality podcasts with just a few clicks is revolutionary. I can already imagine my blog posts suddenly coming to life in audio form. The voice cloning feature sounds fascinating—can’t wait to hear my own dulcet tones broadcasting to the world! Also, the dynamic ad placements could provide a nice ROI while we’re at it. The ability to distribute to all major platforms in under 5 minutes feels like the ultimate growth hack. The creativity of your users must be off the charts, especially with that daily Product Hunt podcast! Excited to see where Podcraftr takes the podcasting scene. Let’s get those audio waves rolling! 🚀

Wow, now creating podcasts will be so easy
Michael Shoup
@shushant_lakhyani Now people can put their focus on making the content engaging instead of all the production aspects.

Wow, Podcraftr looks like a game-changer for content creators! The ability to transform existing text into polished podcasts is definitely intriguing. I can already imagine the time and effort this could save for busy professionals and aspiring podcasters alike. That being said, I have a few thoughts: 1. While the voice cloning feature sounds cool, how does it compare to services like ElevenLabs or Play.ht? It'd be great to hear some samples to gauge the quality. 2. The dynamic ad placement is a nice touch, but I'm curious about the revenue split. How does it stack up against established platforms like Anchor or Acast? 3. Have you considered adding a feature for collaborative editing? It could be a great way to differentiate from competitors like Descript or Riverside. On a lighter note, I'm half expecting to hear my shopping list turned into a dramatic podcast narration. "And now, the thrilling conclusion of 'Milk, Eggs, and the Quest for the Perfect Avocado'!" 😄 All in all, Podcraftr seems like a solid addition to the content creation toolkit. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to seeing how it evolves!

@nikhilpareek Such great questions, Nikhil! Let me answer below: 1. Voice Cloning: We currently use the ElevenLabs API plus some internal tweaks for our voice cloning, so it's super robust and very human-like. There are some great examples of our podcasts here: https://podcraftr.com/podcasts/ 2. Dynamic Ad Place: ALL ad revenue goes directly to the creators! We don't take a cut and don't plan to in the future. Our payouts depend on where the ad is placed within the podcast (pre-roll pays more than post-roll, etc) but are very similar in amounts to Acast. We're also looking at adding the ability to place your own ads such that you can sell the impression space yourself or do "host reads". 3. Collaborative and Team accounts are just about to launch on our Mogul plans :) Along with access to our API. Love all the thought put into this. Keep them coming!

This is exactly what I've been looking for! Such a convenient way to repurpose content and reach a wider audience. Can't wait to try it out!
Michael Shoup
@ema_elisi Thanks Ema! Give us a try and see what you think.

@travelpal Thanks for the support Eddy! Looking forward to hearing what you make. :)
Lwanda Mhlongo
Love the idea of being able to clone your own voice. Will for sure give it a try! Ps Congrats on the launch, wishing you all the best Michael!🔥
Michael Shoup
@lwanda_mhlongo Thanks Lwanda! We want the content Podcraftr produces to help amplify the human behind it, and their unique voice is a big part of that!

Good luck, man! I hope you see more traction than one of my products, read-this.ai. I was considering this pivot but decided to focus my energy on notis.ai, so I'm curious how this turns out! I think it's a fantastic idea.
Michael Shoup
@mindtheflo Thanks Flo! Love what you did with read-this as I have the exact same desire to listen to most of my information (aural learner). We're hoping Podcraftr can focus more heavily on our distribution and monetization while still making it simple for the user to produce the content on the front end. Appreciate your support!
Florian (Flo) Pariset
@michaelshoup Thanks for the kind words Michael. And again, congrats on the launch!
