Hi Hunters! Michael here, CEO of Podcraftr. For years, we've all been creating text content - blog posts, emails, news articles, reports - but often struggle to produce more engaging, modern content like videos or podcasts. Podcraftr solves this by taking your exisiting text content and producing it into an expertly crafted podcast. That means your... - Blogs - News articles - Email newsletters - Training materials - Sales reports - Periodicals ...can now be listened to in podcast form, complete with YOUR OWN cloned voice (or one from our library), professional production with music and transitions, and distribution to every major podcast network. With Podcraftr you can: - 🎧 Reach new audiences that LISTEN to instead of read your content - 💰 Build a new revenue stream via dynamically placed podcast ads - 🎙️ Create a podcast without any expensive recording gear - 🗣️ Clone your voice to enhance the personalization and engagement with your existing audience - 🚀 Create & Launch a podcast to all major platforms (Apple, Spotify, Amazon) in under 5 minutes We've seen some AMAZING uses of Podcraftr from within our customer base, from converting a weekly email newsletter into a weekly podcast, to taking news headlines to create a morning news rundown, or building a brand new podcast from scratch by simply typing. We even helped launch a daily Product Hunt podcast 😎 There are so many uses for Podcraftr, and we're excited to see what all of you come up with. Try Podcraftr now for FREE at Exclusively for the Product Hunt community, we're offering: - 10 minutes of FREE production just for signing up - Use code "PH50" for 50% off your first month of any premium plan (Code valid for one week from launch) Thanks for supporting us, and we can't wait to hear your feedback.
Congrats on the launch, Michael! Podcraftr sounds like a fantastic tool for transforming text content into engaging podcasts—especially with features like voice cloning and professional production. I'm curious about how the voice cloning works. How much sample audio is needed to create a cloned voice, and what level of customization is available in terms of tone and style?
Thanks Devin! We currently partner with ElevenLabs for our voice cloning features, so they are extremely lifelike even at a small sample size. We intend to offer Professional Voice cloning in the future as well.
hey this looks great! Does it work for multiple voices in 1 doc/podcast?
right now, it's one voice per podcast, but multiple voices per podcast is on our roadmap! :)
Congrats on the launch, ! Podcraftr's ability to turn text into podcasts is a game-changer for content creators. I'm particularly intrigued by the voice cloning feature—how customizable is it? Can we adjust the tone and style to match different types of content? Looking forward to experimenting with this!
Thanks Richard! The voice cloning is pretty customizable, but a lot of it depends on the source you provide with your clone. The more range your source has, the broader range the AI will have, then we give you a toolset to tweak it. Podcraftr is pretty good a matching the tone in any given piece of content, but we're also working on features that will allow it to learn your style as you produce more content with it.
Hey Michael, This is such an interesting concept for content repurposing! How accurate is it in replicating the original speaker's tone and inflections? For those of us who might be new to podcasting, do you offer any guidance on optimal content length or structure for maximum engagement? Congrats on the launch!
Great question. The answer, as with most AI, is that the more you feed it, the better it performs. While we only “need” 1 minute of audio to create a voice clone, if you feed us more, Podcraftr will pick up on the specifics of the voice much better. You can also tweak an “exaggeration” setting to lean in more or less heavily to those unique properties. As for educating those newer to podcasting, I think that’s a great idea - like a Podcraftr Academy. Our LLM however does a pretty good job at taking content not formatted for a podcast and turning into into podcast form using best practices for intros, outros, and timing.
Congrats on the launch. This is hands down the best newsletter to podcast platform in the market.
Always appreciate the support, Cliff! What you're doing with Cliff Notes is so helpful for the AI space, and we love having you on the platform.
All the best for the launch
Thanks Tanmay! Appreciate the support.
Podcaftr is a really cool idea. I can see this being especially helpful for sales training - new reps can go over their theory at any time. Congrats!
You got it Alexandra!
This is great, I don't how podcasts still keep growing but I love them so I can't complain. Also, it's great monetization is built in from day one.
As long as people have time to listen, podcasts will keep growing :)
This looks really interesting! Is there different options for the tone of voice or language etc. ? Good luck with the launch!
Great question - we do currently have quite a number of stock voice options along with the ability to clone your voice. We have yet to add native accents outside of English to our stock library but plan to very soon depending on which accents customers ask for.
Congrats on the launch , I’m looking forward to using Podcraftr more as I relaunch my audio newsletter.
Love seeing you here, Ben! Thanks for the support, and we'd love to help you relaunch your audio newsletter with such a dulcet voice!
Sounds like a super useful tool! Just tried it out briefly, and it's looking promising. Turning all that written content into podcasts is genius!Congrats on the launch,Michael.
Awesome Patricia. Let me know if you have any questions as you get deeper into the platform. We're exceptionally open to feedback.
