Determine your goals for Q3 2026 to be more accomplished.
Yesterday we recapped our past 3 months, and I would like to continue in accountability.
Whether you have personal goals or business/career goals, write them down in the comments and after a quarter, we will revisit what we have done. (And what we will push into Q4.) :D
As for me, here is my scope for the upcoming Q3:
Work goals:
๐ Primarily focus on building my LinkedIn plugin that helps prevent people from being banned, so:
mention it at least one post per week on LinkedIn
publish the 1st MVP (non-paid version) in Chrome Store + create visual assets and descriptions
invite 10 active LinkedIn users to test it and get feedback โ I am learning to code thanks to this project
continue to collect testers via waitlist
๐ Publish those 30 Shorts videos on YouTube. :D
Personal goals:
๐ Travel again
๐ Exercise as usual (at least that one hour per day)
๐ Keep learning languages
๐ Attend cultural events during the summer to get to know new people
What are your Q3 goals? :)

Replies
My Q3 goal is to keep moving from service work toward building my own product ecosystem.
Work goals:
๐ Improve VideoDataPro after the Product Hunt launch based on real feedback
๐ Get first reviews/users for the Apify Actor
๐ Continue building DataCrawlPro as the main brand
๐ Publish more founder-led content on LinkedIn
๐ Start turning client experience in scraping, automation, and AI workflows into public case studies
Personal goal is simple: stay consistent without burning out.
Q3 for me is about momentum, not perfection.
@prashant_patil14ย These are so practical, love the clarity you have.
@prashant_patil14ย :) anytime
@prashant_patil14ย The momentum angle is perfect!
@blakeatvassantย Thanks

@prashant_patil14ย Wow! That's a really big scope of work. How much time do you dedicate daily to particular things?
@busmark_w_nikaย Thank you! Yes, it looks big when written together, so Iโm trying to keep it simple daily.
Right now Iโm thinking:
Client/service work: main working hours
Product work: 1โ2 focused hours daily
LinkedIn/Product Hunt/community: 30โ45 minutes
Case studies/content: 2โ3 times per week, not daily
Iโm not trying to do everything every day. The main rule is small consistent progress without burning out. If VideoDataPro improves a little each week and DataCrawlPro keeps becoming clearer as a brand, Q3 will already be a win for me.

@prashant_patil14ย valid point, when you will be doing everything in bursts, you can run out of energy very soon. Wishing you GL! :)
love this idea. my q3 is pretty focused: launch FetchSandbox on Product Hunt (been building it for 3 months, feels like now or never), get to 5k monthly visitors from ~1k, and actually talk to 20 real users instead of just watching the analytics. personal side is simpler, just stay off slack before 9am and get outside more. good luck with the LinkedIn plugin, learning to code through a real project is the fastest way...
@rnagulapalleย your name reminded me of a famous SRK dialogue :)
Wishing you an amazing time when outside.
minimalist phone: reduce your screentime
@rnagulapalleย How do you want to achieve those 5k monthly visitors?
@busmark_w_nikaย honestly the PH launch is the main bet. if that goes well it should move the needle significantly on its own. beyond that, planning to write a few posts in dev/AI communities about the actual problem FetchSandbox solves (agent behavior verification is still pretty underexplored), and the 20 user conversations should surface where people are already searching for this. less of a "run a channel" plan, more finding where the problem already exists and showing up there.

@gia_khanย @rnagulapalleย I am wishing you luck with the launch, but don't fully rely only on that tho :)
@rnagulapalleย core memories I say :)
mine's mostly about actually showing up in communities instead of shipping and vanishing. more real time in PH comments and forums, fewer drive-by posts. a couple of genuine founder relationships in the AI agent space instead of following from a distance. one meaningful product update worth talking about instead of small fixes.
@tina_chhabraย Wishing you the absolute best.
minimalist phone: reduce your screentime
@tina_chhabraย Good luck with the community building! It is a marathon! :)
SlimSnap
Love this, thanks for keeping the accountability going Nika.
My Q3:
Work goals:
Keep the commit streak alive, ship @SlimSnap improvements weekly instead of in bursts
Take marketing as seriously as building. It was my weak side, so more distribution and less hiding in the editor
Build in public on X properly, share the real experience (the wins, the boring middle, the competitor that showed up last week) instead of only posting when something's polished
Personal:
Make real time for family, not the leftover time after shipping
Protect the gym and running time even on shipping weeks
I'll be documenting all of it, the product wins and the hassle, on X if anyone wants to follow along: x.com/bickov
What I most want to revisit in Q4 is whether the marketing actually moves the needle or just the ego. See you back here in 3 months :)
@bickovย I love the accountability part, it feels like I need to do this now :) ( There are people waiting for my updates :D)
I'll be following on X and wishing you the absolute best.
minimalist phone: reduce your screentime
@bickovย thank you for sharing and the point with family and the gym is important. :)
My Q3 Goals:
Work Goals:
Primary focus on building LinkedIQ. My LinkedIn personal brand building saas that tells you exactly what to write next for higher engagement. So,
Reach 1000 singups
4% conversion to paid customer
Personal goals:
Spend more time with my baby
Travel to souther part of country

@shikha_shandilyaย When you mentioned LinkedIn โย are we connected? :) I want to be more connected with people who are into this platform :)
Love the personal goals too! :)
@busmark_w_nikaย Connected since we're both building tools for LinkedIn users. ๐ I'd love to hear more about your plugin - there's a good chance our products complement each other.
minimalist phone: reduce your screentime
@shikha_shandilyaย It would be great to discuss some LinkedIn points and pains of the users :)

minimalist phone: reduce your screentime
@johnsongillย It feels like one person manages the account :D (which is okay, I did it for the founder too) :)
@busmark_w_nikaย She is the Co-Founder and CMO for Takivo :)

I think my professional and personal goals are a mix.
