Founder & CEO at LinkedIQ

About

Hey Product Hunt - I'm Shikha, founder of LinkedIQ. I'm a full-stack engineer who led engineering at ExamTime and founded Creative AI. When I tried LinkedIn, the tooling was built for a different user. Schedulers wanted me to post more. Analytics wanted me to optimize for likes. AI tools wanted to write for me. None of them read my actual work. So I built LinkedIQ. It reads your LinkedIn profile and post analytics exports - the files LinkedIn provides - and gives you a structured model of your personal brand. What's working, what's fragmenting your positioning, what to write next. No scheduling. No ghost-writing. No API connection. No ban risk. Built for senior engineers and technical founders who want to write less and matter more. Would love your feedback.

Do internships still make sense in the AI era? Does your company still offer them?

Recently, I came across a discussion where someone asked whether to skip the internship and build the product with AI instead.

I see the same trend on X. Some founders are just 14, 15, or 16 years old already building tools, and some are even raising funding. AI has completely changed what's possible.

What are the strongest signals that validate an idea and show that the product is worth building?

When you build many products based only on a feeling, you eventually realise that the majority of them won t work.

Sometimes it s because the distribution wasn t good enough. Other times, the product itself wasn t good, or people simply didn t need it.

What decisions have improved your business results?

If you're an entrepreneur, you make countless decisions every day.

And if you're just starting out and have limited experience, a lot of it is trial and error.

Most decisions won't lead to outstanding results (and sometimes they won't work at all).
