I always find this part of SaaS interesting

You build something for a specific problem

Then the first users start using it

And sometimes they use it in a completely different way

The first few users are probably the hardest part of building a SaaS

You have a product but nobody really knows it yet

I ve seen founders try cold outreach

Others start in communities

A launch can bring a lot of people to your product

But getting people to visit is one thing and getting them to actually use the product is another

I ve been thinking about what happens after launch day

Do you focus on onboarding

I am working around SaaS growth and one thing I keep thinking about is the first few users

Getting the first 10 users feels very different from getting users later

You can not really depend on a big audience at that stage

Some founders use cold outreach

Getting the first customers is a different game

You have no big case studies

Not many people know your product

And you re still figuring out what message actually works
