So much hate. I'd love some creative professionals to voice their opinion. This machine is obviously built for power users. Hence the "pro" naming of it. Buy an iMac or a Macbook if you need a powerful machine for some coding, word editing or browsing.
@jonnotie This. Even more so than power users, this is for high-end creative professionals it seems. Seems like so many are misunderstanding the target market for this, although it is also a shame there still isn't a proper (cheaper) Pro for power developers/designers.

Apple at is best, taking money from people. Too expensive and priced out of reach for common people. You can upgrade this mad for a decade, it’s ok Apple already got you money and then some upfront

@androidlove It's not for your average joe. It's for a creative professional that's likely more than 6 - 10 years in the bussines. Rendering videos, models, music, any type of creative media work really. These guys can afford it. Other type of affordance is that companies will buy this, alot of them.

It is a freaking cheese grater... You would think after designing a trash can they would make something that wasn't also easily identifiable with something else you might find in your kitchen. Seriously only for pro pros now. The monitor is awesome but $1k for the stand alone... It is clearly not meant for me or anyone I know.
