What is your go-to uptime monitor?
I'm looking to get uptime monitoring set up for my dozen or so sites and am trying to see which is the best for the price.

My first encounter was with Freshping and I do not see any reason to try another tool as Freshping is keeping me really happy - 1. Super-easy to setup 2. Free to use (with whatever features I needed) 3. Clean InterfaceShamit KhemkaM.D. - SynapseIndia · WrittenIt enables you to monitor your URL and showcase your availability.

- Victor PonamariovUI/UX is my passion · WrittenVictor Ponamariov made this productI'm the author of Pingr. There are toons of uptime monitoring services so it's really hard to stand out. What I personally wanted is to improve quality of existing services. Two things that may be good for users: 1. All features includes in all plans. No need to choose between them 2. Special attention to UI/UX
- It's simple in use and effective. I just configured it (a couple of minutes) and now I'm notified via email each time any of our monitors are down or up again. So, I usually don't need to go to Uptime Robot itself or even open their emails - I just check my email, go through the topics and time of their messages - and that's how I know our monitor has been down for some time, a few minutes, as a rule. A great tool for free!Indeed, Uptime Robot is really simple to use. Everytime my website down, it sends me an email notifying me to take action afterwards, so does it when it's up. Really useful for many purposes.Shamit KhemkaM.D. - SynapseIndia · WrittenUptime Robot is one of the oldest free monitoring tools, tracing its roots all the way back to 2010. Since then, the service has grown dramatically as a cloud-based, uptime-focused monitoring tool.
- 2PingmeterIn Hitsteps we are using Pingmeter services to ensure our uptime for our customers. In addition to typical uptime monitoring voice call alerts, Pingmeter provide a status page for our clients to monitor and pingmeter trigger pre-defined actions in case a downtime or a recovery is occurred. As a result, If one of our servers go down, Pingmeter will trigger an automated action for us to forward visitors to another server (without visitors notice anything!) while it is calling one of our server manager phone according to scheduled time we set for each server managers.Armin Nikdelfounder, developer · WrittenArmin Nikdel made this productPingmeter is a great uptime monitoring tool. They even report on the voice call about how many online users were on the website when downtime occurred.
- Dirty HippieSVP Engineering · WrittenFor monitoring up to 25 sites WebGazer has a $15/mo plan. Have been happy with the service so far, and they've continued to add additional functionality over time to help the community monitor their services, including a cron job monitor feature which was added recently.

I've used Pingdom at my last two companies Hall and Matter.
- 1Happy AppsHonestly, I needed something fast and free to get started - and setup/function was so straightforward, I'll most certainly stay with it when I start scaling up and paying for more than 3 instances.
- Stefan ZweifelDeveloper · WrittenIn addition to uptime monitoring, Oh Dear! also warns you about mixed content on your site and checks if any of your links on your website are broken.
