I've known @theericanderson for quite a while and we worked together on a few projects. One of the best hacker/designer/entrepreneurs I've worked with. I've heard a ton about this elusive upskill platform he's been working on, excited to take it for a spin! 🙌

We haven't had to use Vanhack yet but for the next engineering hire, definitely going to give it a try. This Slack integration is a pretty slick way to easily review some candidates in our #HR channel. Nice to see the team innovating and evolving.

@krumhausen how does this compare to botkit? Looks just like a simplified version.
I agree with @polygrafix. I love this product and use it all the time! Having done hardware before, I'm so impressed with how good a job these guys have done! It's easy to use, works well, battery lasts a decent amount of time, the sensors are super light weight so you don't even notice they are there. I don't know these guys but it's a brilliant idea and great execution on building a hardware...
@devinaabbott Deco is sweet. I'm curious why you guys decided to open source it? I was expecting to pay and after playing with it, with a bit more work I could totally see a few monetization opportunities. Would love to chat if you guys are up for it.

Hey Everyone! We had to take a short nap but are around for questions in you have any. Feel free to hit up http://slack.feathersjs.com as well. There's a party going on in there! :-)

How is this any different than VisualCV or Resume Builder?

Oh man nice! I've been meaning to build something like this but haven't had the time. Been wanting this for a while! It's not a crazy technical challenge given that Tesseract is open source but it's nice to be able to use something that does good OCR right from day one.

Do you guys not have email on your phone?

I like this idea. It's very much the way I treat any of our consulting work. I refuse to take work that isn't fleshed out through some low fidelity prototypes or actual customer interviews (aka. market research). We can help with that as well, but it's a disservice to both our developers time and the customer because our group can build a great product but if it doesn't fill a market need, then...

Man, I thought Hopper was good but this just took travel to another level!

Finally an innovation in battery technology! So smart to just use supercapacitors. It's rare that you use the battery without the car running. Can't wait to see this in every car and motorcycle, although I'm concerned that this will be short lived due to the increasing presence of electric vehicles. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems to only make sense on vehicles powered by fossil fuels.

@torbahax this looks really legit. Excited to try it out later this year when we start running some ads.
This is pretty huge. I recently (as of yesterday) ordered a series of stickers and also put some up on the marketplace (https://www.stickermule.com/marketplace/6809-deliciousdb). @ac132 was super helpful getting my design revisions up and the process was really straight forward. Being able to preview your design with quick turn around is one thing, but being able to see it and feel it is...

I'm surprised people said they thought it was unpolished. I think this is a great execution of an MVP. The signup and project creation from Twitter was flawless, and made adding things super quick. Excited to see where this goes.

Totally wish it didn't just bump me to login all the time. I'd like to actually see what it does before I give all my permissions away.

I really like this take on P2P lending. I have had the same thought for an app so excited to see where this goes! Out of curiosity is 3% interest the minimum you need to charge for arms-length borrowing? Will you guys have some sort of ability to export or view the capital gains/losses I have had for when I need to file taxes?
