WordPress 5.0 “Bebo” - Say Hello to the New Editor
by•
WordPress 5.0 introduces a block-based editor that offers a streamlined editing experience. The new editor is better at inserting media content and rearranging any type of content. Each piece of content is in its own block, which is meant to help site owners decide how content is displayed.

When I started with WP it made me feel like publishing was for everyone, even me- I got to publish, and the images were aligned, posts neatly organised etc. Gutenberg worried me a great deal, and I started out not liking the idea. I thought it would make all the mistakes of adding complexity and making me struggle. I tried the Gutenberg editor very early on and after a couple of updates, I have found that it makes me feel like I felt when I started using WP. That is huge for me. I however hope that all the #WPDrama is sorted out, and that the all voices in the community feel listened to.
Pros:Quicker layout of pages
Cons:A bit of effort to move to 5.0. Still some accessibility issues. Would have preferred Vue
Wordpress should NOT force updates for poorly tested versions. 5.0.3 is full of bugs
Pros:Good ideal with blocks
Cons:- "classic" pages become a mess - buggy
