WordPress 5.0 “Bebo” - Say Hello to the New Editor

WordPress 5.0 introduces a block-based editor that offers a streamlined editing experience. The new editor is better at inserting media content and rearranging any type of content. Each piece of content is in its own block, which is meant to help site owners decide how content is displayed.

I was trying the "Gutenberg" Plugin that is "the same thing" and I still not adapted. The new Editor demand more time to format a simple text and I will need to "learn" to like this. 😞

Gutemberg is great, but it's obviously build by people with a lot of technical skills but a serious lack of writing experiences. The Gutemberg team does not listen to their user's concerns, that is the only explanation I have to justify the fact that it's not possible to justify text which is the default standard for the whole journalism industry.

I'm excited to give this a go. I may start with a fresh site to get going, however. I can imagine it will be hard to migrate existing websites over.

I've been with wordpress before it was wordpress, and continue to ask others to sign up. However, the latest update, still gives me the feeling that it is not intuitive to use... wrote about it on medium.com for a reason, to get the point across... https://medium.com/@jpm/like-the...

I haven't dived in yet, but the concept sounds similar in ways to Notion's live editing, everything as a block etc. This is no bad thing (I am a huge fan of Notion as well.) Am I reading this right?
