Sitting in silence is too loud for my ADHD brain. What sound helps you focus?
I kept wondering why timers, pomodoros, and random playlists never really solved focus for me.
For me, the issue is that my brain needed the right level of stimulation to work.
Sometimes that means going from under-stimulated to higher stimulation so I can actually start.
Sometimes it means going from too much stimulation to lower stimulation so I can settle down and stay with the task.
That’s why I started building TiniAid - Focus for ADHD: a sound-based focus tool for ADHD and neurodivergent brains that helps control stimulation.
It’s not another timer.
It’s not a random playlist.
It’s a way to tune your brain using specially composed music to help people with ADHD create their own sound environment so focus becomes easier to enter and easier to hold.
I’m curious:
What do you usually need more of to focus?
stimulation?
quiet?
structure?
music?
something else?
