Hosted Agents just launched ๐ŸŽŠ I gave one my Instagram link and it built me a live website ๐Ÿ‘€

Not "I prompted it to generate code and then edited it for three hours."

I literally mean: I typed what I wanted, sent some screenshots when things got complicated, and by the end of the afternoon I had a live website - copy, my actual Instagram posts, engagement data, a full documentary film section pulled from five different sources, and a published URL I could send to someone.

The wildest part wasn't the website. It was the Meta developer portal moment.

Instagram blocks unauthorized requests, so the agent explained how to connect via the Graph API. I told it upfront: "Explain it simply. I'm not technically skilled." So I just sent screenshots and it told me what to click, what to select, what the error meant. Getting from first screenshot to working token took under 20 minutes. The credentials got stored in a Cluing Connector, encrypted, reusable.

Hosted Agents in Cluing - Collaborative agents who build, learn and publish in 1 place

Cluing Hosted Agents take agents off one personโ€™s laptop and into a collaborative workspace. Start work from your computer, continue on your phone, and hand it over to teammates without losing context. Evolving skills update as you collect new insights and agents become a team asset. Anyone can now assign tasks, publish their work, and connect to any external tool with an API or MCP with Cluing's custom connectors. Close the laptop - the work will keep going.

We haven't talked much about Cluing Mobile Apps ๐Ÿ‘€ (We hit 1k+ Android installs)

Did you know that Cluing is also available as a mobile app on the App and Play Store? We haven't talked about this much, but we currently have over 1k installations on Android alone
Our main idea was always to help you collect insights on the go and since we launched the app we've been seeing more and more of you using it to save things whenever inspo strikes
And if you are curious what you can do with the mobile app, here's the link for you to check it out:

Cluing now talks to Claude directly ๐Ÿค MCP Integration

A few weeks ago, we launched MCP integration, which means Claude can now create and organize content in your Cluing workspace directly, without you switching between tabs or copy-pasting anything manually.

When you are in the middle of a conversation with Claude and something useful comes up, instead of manually going to Cluing to save it, you just ask Claude to do it for you. It creates the snippet, puts it in the right Topic, and your workspace updates on its own.
You can ask it to:

  • turn a conversation into a summary snippet

  • bookmark something for later

  • capture a stray idea worth revisiting

  • create a new Topic and organize related content into it

And the part I find most interesting is that it goes both ways. Claude can pull from your saved knowledge in Cluing, and it can write back to it. That's a pretty different relationship than most AI integrations, which are read-only.

Remember Collabwriting? We're back as Cluing ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Here's why we killed a #1 Product of the Day name

Hey Product Hunt(ers)

We launched Collabwriting for Teams here in 2024, hit #1 Product of the Day, and then went quiet. We went heads-down to build, and told ourselves we'd come back when we had something worth saying.

Two years later, here we are.

Back then, Collabwriting helped you collect paragraphs from webpages. Today, Cluing captures almost anything - articles, PDFs, YouTube videos, TikToks, emails, social posts, even your own real-life thoughts. We went from single Topics to a full system: Clusters, a Knowledge Graph, AI Chat with any frontier model, Canvas, and MCP integration.

The Cluing feature I use every single day ๐Ÿคซ

It's not the flashiest thing in the product, but honestly, being able to mention Topic into AI Chat and have all my saved insight just there, ready to use, has changed how I work more than anything else.
I used to spend the first 10 minutes of every AI conversation re-explaining context I'd already figured out weeks ago. Now, I just reference a Topic and continue from where my research left off And when something useful comes out of it, I open it in Canvas and continue editing and refining it like any other document.
So the whole loop is basically: collect, think, create, refine.

I'm curious if anyone else has become as attached to this workflow as I have?

July was a busy month for the Cluing team โ˜€๏ธ We didn't slow down this summer

While many people were slowing down for summer, our developers were doing the opposite - shipping more than EVER.

Meanwhile, the rest of the team (incluing me ) was busy exploring what's next, testing new ideas, and contributing our own thoughts on how Cluing can evolve.

All of that resulted in 3 product updates in July, bringing new improvements to the way you capture, organize, and work with knowledge in Cluing.

From Research to Context Management

Research has changed more in the last two years than it did in the previous twenty.

When we first built Collabwriting, research meant opening 27 tabs, reading everything yourself, highlighting the useful parts and sharing them with your team.
