TheySaid - Conversational surveys that deliver deeper insights

byβ€’
TheySaid is more than a survey - it's an opportunity to engage your customers, employees, members, etc. Training AI takes less than 1 min by pointing it to you URL or internal doc. Your audience can answer and ask questions as if they are talking to you!

Great suggestion @sentry_co! That is on the roadmap - we see so much potential for a Slack integration too!

This is really cool and exactly what I've been needing recently. Previously, I've been using Tally. From my experience, the most important aspect isn't the form of the survey itself, but how to effectively reach the relevant users with it. Lately, I've been studying this area. Anyway, congrats on your launch, team TheySaid!

@bonvisions yeah. you sound like you have done your research:-) I have dedicated my whole career on this, to keep it simple. 1. if you are sending this to your existing customers, set it up in their natural journey. 2. If you are doing market research, you can send it to a survey panel-- they can be expensive and most folks are paid by the boring survey. Question for you, should Theysaid provide a testing panel for you to easily tap into?

I like how the AI generates questions based on the website. What happens after the one open ended question? Do you get to dictate what the AI asks or does the AI generate follow up questions? I like the demo on the website, but it would be cool if it generated a survey for me. Congrats on the launch @lihong_hicken and team!

@tonyhanded finally someone is interested in doing a survey. There is one for product hunt, you can do it by scanning the QR code in the media. There is a survey in our pricing page and when you sign up a theysaid account, we will be sending you lots of surveys. :-)
Lihong Hicken
@tonyhanded Your ask about AI generate survey questions for you is here in our TheySaid 2.0. We plan to do a second launch in Feb and you can try AI survey generator free today. You will need to sign up for a free account at Theysaid.ai, then hit create project- create survey- tell AI what you want to know. for example ( I want to learn how product leaders gather feedback with AI)- within a few seconds, the questions will be ready.

@lihong_hicken very cool!

Hey Lihong, Theysaid looks really promising! Love the idea of getting quick feedback with minimal setup. Just curious, does the AI-generated survey adapt to different industries or is it more general? Looking forward to trying it out!
Jaala Seifipour
@robertthomas2, thank you for your kind words! . We tested with 200 beta testers from different industries and the AI were able to generate really specific responses that only people from that industry will understand. Most of the time, I didn't understand it myself, because I wasn't familiar with all industries, but our beta tested companies were impressed, I will take their word for it!
Lihong Hicken
@robertthomas2 Oh yah. It adopts very well with different industry, that is the whole reason we spend time training the AI. For now the AI learns everything from your company URL and becomes an industry expert and product expert of your product. Chatting with a survey bot that really understand you is fracking amazing!!!!

I like how TheySaid adds a conversational twist to surveys. The idea of engaging your audience as if you’re interviewing them is super interesting.
Jaala Seifipour
@alexanderscottwilliams That is the goal, to eliminate all boring surveys in the world across all industries!

WOW! completely blown away by the presentation of the homepage. Everything on the page is placed with intention. The flow is great, I love it. The price page was also excellent, my interaction with the homepage made the price of $100 a month acceptable. One random feedback, with the testimonials I noticed the first two had company info and the last three did not. It would be better for consistency to either remove the first two or update the last three with company info.
Lihong Hicken
@userinsite great suggestion. We will dig into that. Didn't notice at first, we are too close to the product. Thanks for the feedback! :-)
Negou Seid
@lihong_hicken glad to help. Reach out if you need more outside perspective. Testing is my passion
Zenda
Congrats! This problem does exist. But I want to know how TheySaid can achieve accurate answers? After all, for a company, the information replied externally must be accurate.
Jaala Seifipour
@zenda1122 Great question and yes you are correct. TheySaid's AI is trained on the accessible content like a website or a help center etc. So the better and more accurate the information is on these sites, the better trained our AI will be. You will be able to edit the information our AI digests, so if you need to add in additional information you can. It is customizable.
Luigi Calisi
Congratulations on the launch! I'm really impressed with TheySaid, and the product overview looks fantastic. You mentioned that more training sources and formats will be released soonβ€”could you give us a sneak peek of what's coming? Thanks for sharing!
Amy Long
@luigi_calisi thank you for your support and kind words! Soon you'll be able to upload docs or PDFs and add multiple URLs to train the AI. This will allow you to fine tune the content that is used to respond to your customers.
Max Blade
Yesss now this is an exciting tool to get some actionable insight on you your user feedback!!! Congrats
Lihong Hicken
@_maxblade Thank you! let's hear what They Said! :-)
Kacy Boone ❇️
Love that there's a way to go deeper on the feedback in real-time. So many times when I'm running a survey, I want to know more about what was said or selectedβ€”by then, it's too late! This is a really interesting solve.
Lihong Hicken
@kacy_boone1 Kacy, agreed. What you describe is called " NPS season" or " Survey season" where your customer facing teamss will pause what they are doing and reach out to get context from their customers. It is not a fun job and not helpful. because usually you are met with silence. Being able to go deep and ask follow up questions when the customer is still there is way better than trying to reach out multiple times and get nothing. We hope you get a chance to give TheySaid a Try!
