The hidden rules of LinkedIn formatting (and why they matter for reach)

Something I've been curious about: how many of you have noticed your LinkedIn posts performing differently based purely on how they're formatted not the content itself?

I've been digging into this while building a social scheduling tool, and the formatting layer on LinkedIn turns out to have a much bigger effect on reach than I expected.

A few things that surprised me:

Posts with external links in the body consistently underperform the same post with the link moved to the first comment. The algorithm appears to treat outbound links as an exit signal. Line breaks that look correct in the editor often collapse on mobile not a display glitch, just how LinkedIn renders them on different clients. The "see more" cutoff is shorter on mobile (~210 chars) than desktop, so hooks that work on one don't always land on the other.

AI that writes proposals in your voice, not a template

Hey PH

Just launched DraftYourBid, an AI proposal tool built for consultants and agencies.

Most proposal tools give you a blank template and leave you to figure out the words. DraftYourBid works differently:

  • Upload your past proposals: the AI learns your voice and style

  • Describe the new client: get a full tailored proposal in seconds

  • Add a quote, generate a contract, get it signed, all in one place

Nutrtion plan app

Hey Product Hunt!

I've wanted to build something of my own for a long time. Not a side project abandoned after two weeks something real.

Lorematch – a video game trivia game with a ranked ladder

Hey !
I built Lorematch to play with friends: six puzzles per run, three lives, blurred screenshots that reveal in stages, faster guesses score more. It started as something dumb to share in a group chat. I'm posting it here because I'd like to see if it can become a real thing.

Three eras to play (Retro pre-2006, Modern 2006+, or All), and a ranked mode with six tiers from Bronze to Loremaster and tier rewards. Currently around 970 games in the database.

Stack: SvelteKit + Svelte 5, Supabase, Cloudflare R2 for images, Netlify. One person's free-time project. No ads.

Things I'm still figuring out: ranked balance numbers are starting guesses, the game library could be wider, and I haven't done much to invite people in beyond sharing it with friends.

🔥 AI Image Editor — Automate Image Editing with API

Hi Product Hunt

We built an AI Image Editor to solve a simple problem:
Image editing should be programmable, not manual.

Grocyy – Know what you buy, spend, and need next

Grocyy helps you turn everyday receipts into powerful insights.
Website: https://grocyy.com/
The pain point of we throw away receipts or forget what we bought. That means we have no idea:

  • how much we re really spending on groceries

  • what we buy most often

  • or when we ll need to restock

Grocyy fixes that.

Just upload a receipt and Grocyy will automatically:

From Shopify CSV to True Profit in 30 Seconds (No Spreadsheets)

I ve been posting less lately.
Not because I lost momentum, but because I wanted to give more of my time and attention to Okiela.
Over the past few weeks, I ve been going back into the product, re-checking small details, re-running tests, and repeating the experience from the perspective of a real user. I kept asking myself a simple question: if I were a Shopify merchant seeing this for the first time, what would still feel unclear, frustrating, or not valuable enough yet?
I want Okiela to be more polished, more useful, and more grounded in real business decisions before I submit and list it on the Shopify App Store. My goal is to bring it closer to Shopify store owners and agency teams who are trying to understand what their business is actually making, not just what the dashboard says.
Okiela is still early. It s still young. And I m building it as a solo non-code founder from Vietnam with an FP&A / finance background, so I know it won t be perfect on day one. But I care deeply about making it genuinely useful for people who are not finance experts and still need a fast, simple way to see true profit by SKU, order, and channel.
I ve also recorded a short screen demo of the flow: uploading Shopify order data and getting to real true profit much faster, assuming the relevant cost inputs are there. (Youtube link: https://youtu.be/UZr91L8TPq4)
If you work with Shopify brands, agencies, or e-commerce teams, I d truly appreciate your honest feedback. Sharp feedback is welcome. That s how Okiela gets better.
And if you know someone dealing with this exact pain, I d be grateful if you shared Okiela with them.
Thanks for being here <3

What if AI had no token limits?

Five months ago, we launched oneinfer.ai on Product Hunt with a clear goal, make AI infrastructure usable at scale through a unified inference layer, intelligent routing, and cost optimization.

Since then, we've spent time working alongside teams shipping real AI products in production. One pattern kept surfacing in almost every conversation:

Even with better infrastructure, teams still spend a disproportionate amount of engineering time working around access constraints, token windows, rate limits, throughput ceilings, and unpredictable usage caps. Not because the underlying models can't handle the load, but because the access layer was never designed for the way modern AI products actually scale.

Today is Labor Day.

A good reminder that work is not only about output, performance, and productivity.

It is also about energy.
Pressure.
Trust.
Recovery.
And whether people feel safe enough to speak up before things break.

That is the idea behind Pulseboard.
