Remix is a full stack web framework that lets you focus on the user interface and work back through web standards to deliver a fast, slick, and resilient user experience. People are gonna love using your stuff.
I love how Remix makes you think of your app as a set of independent modules with their own data rendering processes.
It also focuses on accessibility which is a big plus 🙌
After 15 years of Rails development I took the plunge and went full time Remix earlier this year and can't imagine going back. Nested routes are a game changer for productivity. I'm now working on my third largish Remix app after launching JSONHero.io with Remix & Cloudflare Workers earlier this year. Congrats on the launch!
I've tried a dozen of node.js frameworks and I can assure that Remix is one of the best. It applies a thin layer of magic on web standards to progressively enhance them. My favourite thing about Remix is how easy it is to implement Optimistic UI pattern and get rid of all the spinners/loaders. I can recommend it for any beginner developer who wants to start adventure with full stack apps 💪
Finally the RoR replacement we needed!
A few years from now, it'll be the new php --> Very easy to use and to deploy. The obvious choice for any PoC or huge scale application.
Used it for a side project. Can't wait for easier components testing (without cypress).
I've shared this with quite a lot of developer friends over the past couple of months. Not sure where I heard about it but found this to be quite powerful.
Remix is honestly the best, it brings in the benefit of having a single source for back- and frontend just what I liked with PHP years ago, but now finally in JavaScript.
