📖 The Story Behind Pulse

Pulse was originally built by our expert team at BigData Boutique, drawing from over a decade of experience in building, optimizing, and troubleshooting OpenSearch and Elasticsearch clusters for global clients at various sizes and for different use-cases.

Over time we noticed a common pain amongst our clients: Search clusters are hard to monitor and maintain effectively, and when things go sideways, there can be a lot of downtime until the root cause is found and fixed. This difficulty causes costly (and stressful) scrambling and firefighting.

To address this, we created Pulse — a comprehensive suite of tools designed for proactive search cluster management. We initially developed Pulse as our in-house solution, and now it’s available as a stand-alone platform for anyone interested in streamlining and optimizing their search cluster monitoring and maintenance.
