Hi Ken, thanks for following Pola's journey!
Command palette: Yes there is a Cmd+T shortcut to open the palette and it’s very useful, but I want to add to it “Favorites” and more soon to make navigation faster.
Arc import: No import tool yet but I’m working on it. Let me know if this is a priority for you!
1Password support: I tested it but it’s not fully working yet. Some APIs need adjustments. I’ll update when will be ready!
Thanks for your support!
Currently, the supported experimental extensions (such as UBlock Origin Lite) are still relatively limited. I am really looking forward to the official extension store becoming more enriched as soon as possible. If the AI sidebar tool can directly integrate some mainstream AI services (such as ChatGPT) instead of just connecting to the "preferred service", its practicality will be greatly enhanced.

Hi Yi thanks for your feedback!
Extensions: I’m working to add more extensions to the compatibility list. It takes time but I'll keep expanding the list. Let me know which ones you would like to see first!
The sidebar is designed to connect to your preferred AI service via web, but I'll look into adding direct integrations like ChatGPT. This could make it even more useful for users!
Your suggestions help a lot, thanks for using Pola!
It clearly promises "not to sell data and not to track", and it hosts anonymous data in the EU, which makes me feel quite reassured. The password management is directly integrated with Apple Keychain, making it very seamless to use. However, I hope it can support third - party mainstream password managers like Bitwarden as soon as possible.

Hi Long thanks for your feedback! I’m glad you feel reassured by my commitment to privacy and great to hear Apple Keychain integration it’s working seamlessly for you!
About third-party password managers, Bitwarden support is already available as an experimental extension. You can enable it in the settings, I'm also working on improving compatibility with other password managers!
Let me know if you need help setting it up!

Hey, it's really nice, but paying for a browser seems like a dangerous strategy as all the others are always free. But I like the idea, just replace ChatGPT on the side with Claude 💃

@melvynxdev
Hi Melvyn, thanks for trying Pola!
I understand the concern. Most browsers are free but they often rely on data or ads. Pola is built for users searching for productivity and the free trial lets you test everything before deciding.
You can connect Claude or any AI service you prefer, the sidebar is flexible so you can use what works best for you!
Thanks for your feedback!
It’s great that it supports Bitwarden and Proton Pass right out of the box, since I can't live without my password managers. I wonder if it supports other Chrome extensions too, and how reliable the cloud sync is when switching between different Macs.

@theaxx
Hi Thea, thanks for your question!
Bitwarden and Proton Pass are supported as experimental extensions. I’m working to add more Chrome extensions in the future but for now only a few are available. Let me know which ones you need and I'll prioritize them.
Pola uses Google Drive to keep your data aligned across devices. It's reliable but you need to be signed into the same Google account on all your Macs.
If you face any issues I'm here to help!
@matteo_ricuperoFor people who already rely on Chrome or Safari for daily work whats the moment where Pola actually starts saving time instead of felling like just another browser to manage? I am especially thinking about floating tabs and multi window use in real workflows not demos.

@elin_sjoberg
Hi Elin thanks for your question!
When does Pola start saving time? Start by using Pola for specific tasks where its features shine. For example:
Floating tabs: use them for quick reference (like research or documentation)
Research mode: keep the tree of links visited to always have what have you visited in the past very quickly
Real workflow example: I use Pola for research and for freelance projects. Floating tabs let me keep notes or AI chats visible while working in the main window. Also sidebar webview make everything quicker. It feels faster because I don't switch between full apps.
Try it for one task at a time. You'll find if it fits for you.
Oh, this looks right up my alley—floating tabs for workspace management and Bitwarden support are exactly what I’ve been craving in a Mac browser. I’m definitely gonna give it a shot later today.

Hi Yuanrong, thanks for your interest!
I'm glad you like the features. Floating tabs and Bitwarden support are designed to make your workflow smoother.
Let me know how it goes after you try it.
I'd love to hear your feedback!
@yuanrong_tang This looks really promising for Mac productivity! Floating tabs and cloud sync are exactly the features I’ve been wanting, plus support for Bitwarden and Proton Pass is a huge plus 👀. I’m planning to test it out soon—I’d love to see support for more productivity extensions added down the line!
You need to add AI features — that’s the trend right now. And to avoid paying for each user out of your own pocket, you could integrate with the user’s own ChatGPT or another AI under their own login. That opens up a huge space for ideas ;)
Seems like a cross between Arc and Horse. It has potential but needs a LOT of work before anyone would be willing to pay for this. Three issues that I noticed immediately:
The UI is very rough and lacks the professional appearance of a modern MacOS app.
It has a very basic built-in password manager, but lacks support for third party password managers and more importantly, doesn't support iCloud passwords.
It uses Google Drive for sync? What??? Why on Earth would a MacOS app use Google Drive rather than CloudKit?
