As a PC user, I've never wanted a Mac more in my life. Bravo, you made me salty.
Luke Oslizlo
@igoruphere If you switch to Mac because of our app we are willing to give you PixelSnap for free! 😄
Igo Akulov
@lukaszmtw sweet! :D If only all my rash decisions were rewarded this way...
Igo Akulov
@lukaszmtw switch I did. ;)
Luke Oslizlo
@igoruphere I'm keeping my word, DM! 😄

Hey! I'm the maker of PixelSnap! If you have any questions I'm happy to answer them.

@lukaszmtw Amazing! Just what I was missing all these years as a developer.

@lukaszmtw Great idea, I'll check it out. Really liked the video too (I used the same template for a marketing action of our startup haha)
Luke Oslizlo
@luis_martins Thank you! We made the video ourselves ;)
Ken Wallace
@luis_martins @lukaszmtw Yeah, the video walkthrough is super great!

@lukaszmtw @luis_martins First of all, congrats! Btw, what's the tool and template to make this video.?

$15 though for a V1.0 though? hmmm..
Luke Oslizlo
@matonias You can use the code PRODUCTHUNT and get it for $10. ;)
Ryan Roberts
@lukaszmtw No demo? 🙁
Luke Oslizlo
@ryan_roberts1 At the moment we don't have a trial version, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase we can always give you a refund.
Ryan Roberts
@lukaszmtw No problem. I've purchased it and love what you've done, however it seems to have problems with multiple screens. I have an external monitor setup as the main screen and my RMBP as the secondary, PixelSnap is very buggy on the secondary screen.
Luke Oslizlo
@ryan_roberts1 Sorry to hear that. Please send us more details at contact@maketheweb.pl (a video would be really helpful)

Great work @lukaszmtw PixelSnap looks great! However, I think $15 is a bit expensive for it. Any reason you have the price to set to where it is? Furthermore, any discounts for Product Hunters?
Luke Oslizlo
@3raxton We discussed this with some early adopters and they considered it a fair price for all the features.
braxton
@lukaszmtw sounds great, I will do that! Do you think the code could actually be made to offer $10 off instead of only $5 off?
Chris Johnson 😆🥘🏐
@lukaszmtw @3raxton I'm pretty happy with the price! I think $15 for a one-off that will be used daily by designers and developers to save hours is well, well worth $15 (hint hint). Much better than a monthly sub of $5... Boom, $60 for a year.
Jeff Dashley
@3raxton @lukaszmtw Will the PRODUCTHUNT discount be available again? Just went to purchase and it's now showing expired.
Luke Oslizlo
@jeffdashley I'm sorry but it was prepared only for launch day.

This is something I had no idea I needed until now. I used to measure things by initiating a screenshot and then dragging to measure. I'd say this is WAY easier.

Pros:

Super easy to use.

Cons:

Nothing yet.

cmd+shift+4 on steroids .. like that <3

Beautiful product and pitch. Consider adding it to Setapp in the future, if you find it viable.
Pascal Andermatt
I would like to try a demo version before buying it
Luke Oslizlo
@pandermatt At the moment we don't have a trial version, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase we can always give you a refund.
Pascal Andermatt
@lukaszmtw thanks, I bought it and I love it
Marc Köhlbrugge
Congrats on the launch! Using the app feels magical. Curious to hear about any uncommon use cases you might have seen in the wild yet?
Luke Oslizlo
@marckohlbrugge Thanks! I think it's mostly useful for designers and developers, but I'm sure people will find use cases in different areas.
Kovács Máté

It's a great tool and if somebody had a lot of screenshots because used command + shift + 4 for measuring distances on the screen, this well worth the price!

Pros:

Super handy and well designed tool.

Cons:

I haven't find anything
