A few weeks ago, I came across Jared, Founder/CEO of Offsite, in the “Five on Friday” newsletter from @thesamparr and his new company Hampton. I read about Offsite’s mission to make the world a more “connected” place by making it easier for remote and hybrid teams to plan offsites. I was blown away to hear they’d already planned hundreds of offsites and generated $1M+ in services revenue before launching a product 🤯 I immediately cold DM’d him on Twitter, inviting him to my podcast, The Undefeated Underdogs, where we discussed many things, including the inception of Offsite and how his experience of being an early employee at 15Five gave him an edge in understanding remote culture. For some reason, Offsite feels like an idea I wanted to build - I was instantly hooked on Jared's vision, what he is building right now, and, most importantly, why he is passionate about helping startup teams connect!
