Congrats team! I've been a Monarch user for almost a year and I've been impressed by the amount of insights I'm getting about my spending behavior. Just signed up for AI Assistant waitlist. Very excited to try it out! 🚀
Building this into a product that already exists is a huge advantage. I think the fact that y'all launched Monarch in 2021 gives a leg up on usability so there's less room for error. Great work!
I'm looking forward to seeing how AI helps with finance tools, so this looks really cool. Can't wait to try it out!
As a monarch user, I don't want this. Presumably, if I'm using Monarch, I'm a bit beyond "You could afford a house if you'd stop eating avocado toast." Fix the bugs with the existing program, rather than adding a useless feature because it's trending. I don't want ChatGPT or any related program anywhere near my data.
Congrats team Monarch!
This looks great!
As a Monarch Money user, this does not excite me. There are PLENTY of other things I'd rather see the Monarch dev team working on rather than joining all the hustle bros jumping on the AI bandwagon. For example, an option for a much more data-dense layout (there's so much unnecessary white space!) Or the option to show a "running balance" in the transaction list, and not a (useless to me) "daily total". Lots of features to add that are more important than a way for ChatGPT to tell people they could save money by going to Starbucks less.
Can this or will it integrate with Open Banking?
awesome stuff. could you share a little about your "ai stack" and what you used to build this?
We are going to write a series of blog posts about this. Feel free to follow us on Twitter:
Monarch looks awesome! How'd you guys decide on what Monarch should sound like? Since it's like a personal assistant for a person, rather than just a chatbot
