Hey everyone, I'm Pouya, LifeAt's CTO 👋 I'm excited to share LifeAt with you all today! We've been hard at work building features requested by our users, fixing bugs, and improving the overall experience over the past few months. Also, we're especially excited because we recently launched the V1 of our video-chat feature! We hope you can use this to co-work while WFH and escape some of that remote work loneliness. @syswarren @rrhoover Ooo, would be super interested to hear more about this and why it didn't come to fruition. Any learnings you'd be willing to share? :-) We were experimenting with an extension recently but ended up tabling it.

This is such a lovely idea! It *feels* nice and warm, unlike typical productivity and video conferencing tools. I wish it’d include Lo-fi music instead of making us sign into Spotify… Any chance that built-in tunes will be added ?makers LifeAt would be a great, active second-screen “screensaver”

@anna_0x Thanks for the kind words Anna! That's the exact vibe we're going for 😄 We wanted something more casual and engaging than Zoom. Each space in the Lofi category actually has its own custom music! We're definitely trying to scale up our integrations soon!

@galaxyx7 It really started when we were stuck in our apartments working remotely during the pandemic. Looking at the same wall all day was pretty lame, and frankly I wanted a nice ambient video of the ocean or cafe when working! So we built a quick site, shared it on social media, and long story short, we continue to add more spaces and features based on what our community asks for. Anything in particular you find interesting or have feedback for us?

@devinaji I just gave it a try and it feels very good. I just don't know how to use it properly? What can I really do with it other than have it open in a Chrome tab? I'd be great if you could integrate it as a standalone Mac app so that when I open my laptop, the new desktop is already waiting?
