Just analysing yourself and creating your own profile is very interesting. I showed Keigo to a few colleagues and they all thought that already was very useful. Starting to analyse and match yourself with others is then the next level.

Pros:

Brings professional psychometrics to everyones finger tips with a clean, simple and easy to use UX.

Cons:

I am a LinkedIn heavy user and would love to get that data source available as soon as possible.

Hello Juho, Thank you for your review! This is how you can go Keigo on your Linkedin contacts. See if the up and coming conversation partner has written any blogs or articles. Then copy all of the texts into “AI” => “AI analysis by free text” – and you are good to go.

I have used it for work before meeting a new person

Pros:

Great for understanding others

Cons:

So far none

Hi Sebastian, Thank you! Yes, Keigo is all about understanding others – but it all starts with understanding of oneself first. There are many layers and dimensions involved in these matters, but this old wisdom catches various aspects of it rather nicely. Understanding others is knowledge, Understanding oneself is enlightenment; Conquering others is power, Conquering oneself is strength. - Tao Te Ching

There are a couple of things I´d like to bring up at this point. Keigo is a powerful tool. Use it for good. No matter how cheesy it may sound, we do want to see our users flourish, while making the World a better place. Having an open mind and committing to continuous improvement are cornerstones of Keigo. “Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself.” However, this is problematic, when dealing with individual differences and preferences. Following the Golden Rule can, in fact, lead to an undesired outcome, friction or even strife– despite best of intentions of both parties. The Golder Rule is a principle. A great principle. But still only a principle. Situational flexibility and taking one´s cue from conversation partner is all about nuance. Nuance matters. A lot. Keigo is here to help you all the way. Keigo is your mentor in the moment. This is how it goes. Receiving cross-evaluations is often insightful. It can even lead to epiphany. Understanding oneself is the beginning point and there is plenty to master in that domain. Analysis of one´s counterparts comes after that. You can use sliders or AI. Keigo Twitter analysis (AI) is based on open information and the results are kept for 60 days. In other words, should someone leave Twitter, analysis based on their Tweets would not remain for more than 60 days. The same goes for all results for that matter. Be yourself. That what Keigo usually suggests, but occasionally – especially when faced with a completely opposite type – it is worthwhile to pull back some of the more pronounced individual characteristics.

The website and the description are pretty vague in my opinion. I understand what this product is supposed to do but I don't really understand how it does it. And by that I don't mean I don't understand logic in the code, I mean there are some serious omissions here, for example: - what sources can it draw from (only twitter is mentioned)? - how does it work if the person you want to analyze does not use social media/you haven't exchanged any text with them? - what does an analysis to look like/in what format is it served? Can you provide us with with part of an analysis of an imaginary person or something to get an idea of what we're getting? Also, I noticed that the reviews in the play store are quite negative so I'm not sure if I'm going to try it out.

@anna_0x Hello Anna, Thank you for looking into us - and feedback. I try to address stated concerns briefly here and I will expand on some of the themes later, which require more profound answers. - The website and the description are pretty vague in my opinion. I understand what this product is supposed to do but I don't really understand how it does it. We are about to start working on an animated video, which walks through the service as a first-person experience. We have had our work cut out for us trying get the app right, so it is a matter of priorities and resources at this point. - And by that I don't mean I don't understand logic in the code, I mean there are some serious omissions here, for example: Yes, we tried to communicate the big picture. However, we probably failed to bring forth all relevant information for the more tech savvy people. - what sources can it draw from (only twitter is mentioned)? Twitter it is. Names work instantly and, for example, blogs can be used for free text section (LinkedIn) FB is out of bounds / closed. We give 5 credits for free. - how does it work if the person you want to analyze does not use social media/you haven't exchanged any text with them? You can use sliders – for eternally free! That is, you can analyze behavior / behavioral cues. In case you have never met and the person in question is not active in (Twitter, blogs…), just go out and be yourself, with an open mind. Moreover, there are plenty of pointers – based on your own social gravitations – to take cue from. - what does an analysis to look like/in what format is it served? We use social styles as a framework, or theory of social interaction – a loved child has many names… It goes back approximately half a century. It is an oversimplification, naturally, but we find it very useful due to Universal nature of it. One profile is not better or worse than another one; There are pros and cons embedded in all variations. - Can you provide us with witch part of an analysis of an imaginary person or something to get an idea of what we're getting? Indeed, a first-person video would address this nicely. (Screen shots could help perhaps too.) We are about to start making a walk-through video, which follows narrative format, which we have found to be rather common is US (at least few years ago). Namely, introducing an imaginary character and have her / him do something old way, which is problematic, only to pick up the product and adopting a new way. You can always just get Keigo and just randomly take the visual assessment and bounce around. We hope that you would give it a shot. - Also, I noticed that the reviews in the play store are quite negative so I'm not sure if I'm going to try it out. Unfortunately, we have had the Android version crash a couple of times at the beginning. Now fixed. Valid points raised, thank you. On the whole, we are trying to bring applied psychology to everyone. For the most part, for free. However, all this talk of AI / tech tends to move the focus away from the main point. Life is short and we want to make the most out of it. We hope that we can help to improve our users lives and we hope that they use Keigo for good. Sometimes small – or even mundane – ideas can have a huge impact. It is often a question of when and how those ideas are delivered and grasped. Nuance matters. That is what we try to achieve with Keigo. In order words, Keigo is all about mutual understanding, user empowerment and self-reflection. At the end of the day, the answers are not in Keigo. The answers are in you. In art and labor, Manne & Keigo team Ps. Further information is available – naturally – upon request. More info here too: https://twitter.com/keigoapp

@manne_pyykko thanks for your time and detailed response. Yes, a video a video would be much appreciated and would most likely clear up all the confusion!
