A typical day with Okiela
The other day a small DTC founder DM d me:
Revenue looks fine on Shopify, but every month I stare at the numbers and still don t know if I actually made money.
He sent me 2 files:
Shopify Orders CSV
His own COGS spreadsheet (SKU, unit cost)
His routine looked very familiar:
Print Shopify revenue
Open 2 3 Excel files
Manually subtract COGS, ad spend, shipping, random fees
Stay up late, end up with a profit number he doesn t really trust
I asked him to try Okiela the way it is today:
Upload the Shopify Orders CSV
Import his COGS sheet
Add a few big cost buckets (ads, payroll, apps)
Maybe 30 seconds later, the dashboard showed:
The SKUs that are actually paying the bills
Two best sellers that are basically breakeven once all costs are in
A bunch of small fees adding up to a bit over 10% of revenue
He opened the AI chat on the side and asked:
What should I fix first?
The AI didn t give a TED talk.
It just said things like:
These SKUs can handle a small price increase
This one has been unprofitable for 3 months even with decent ROAS
Shipping to these regions is way more expensive than the rest
His reply was: I don t need another shiny dashboard. I just need something that tells me what s feeding me and what s bleeding me.
That s pretty much what Okiela does right now.
Nothing fancy:
Take your Shopify Orders export
Add COGS and a few main costs
Show you SKU level profit and a couple of straightforward moves
The bigger stuff is still in the oven, so I d rather earn trust with this first.

Just a quick intro about myself!
Hey Everyone
I m a full stack developer working with Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and AI(LLMs, Agents).
I ve been building web apps and AI chatbots, and this project came from a real need I encountered while working on previous products.
It s still evolving, and I d really appreciate your feedback, suggestions, or even criticism.
Yes, yet another AI SDR. But we hope it's differnt this time round.
Hey everyone, David here. Founder of BuiltDiffernt.
I appreciate the hype of AI in the past few years has produced many a "useless" product at least, in my world that being the world of sales-tech.
I’m the developer behind Nucleify, and we’re launching tomorrow!

For the past 2+ years, I ve been building this project nights and weekends.
It started from frustration with existing CMS platforms - I appreciated tools like WordPress, but I didn t want to deal with legacy code, performance trade-offs, and architectural decisions made over a decade ago.
So I decided to build a modern alternative.
Right now I m in the final pre-launch sprint:
Hey PH! I'm Alex — I build browser tools and Cloudflare integrations at 301.st
I've been deep in the Cloudflare ecosystem for years my redirect platform runs on Workers, my extensions leverage its edge, and I just shipped a WordPress plugin that syncs media to Cloudflare Images with encrypted credentials and preset-based delivery. If it touches Cloudflare, I've probably built something for it.
On the browser side, I maintain a suite of privacy-focused extensions: FastWeb (search accelerator), Debloat (hides AI bloat & blocks telemetry), CookiePeek (cookie viewer/editor), and QRCGen.
Right now I'm preparing to launch Redirect Inspector a real-time redirect chain tracer for QA and SEO. It passively captures every hop as you browse, groups them into readable chains, and runs local checks for loops, ping-pong patterns, and tracking noise. No telemetry, everything in-browser.
Ciao from Rome! From 90s MUDs to a 1:1 NASA-data Solar System in a browser tab.
Salve! I m Giuseppe, a developer who started in the trenches of the 90s Italian MUD scene (Lumen et Umbra). After 30 years in the industry, my 3-man team is using our life savings to build our dream: Zero-G.
We just hit 972/1,000 registration today and released Alpha 4.8.3. What makes us different?
Scientific Soul: We don't use "Skyboxes." We use real 1:1 NASA topographic data (LOLA/MOLA).
Hard Physics: master the Newtonian "Flip & Burn" or you won't survive the first docking.
The Incursion: We just recorded our first major player casualty a cargo ship lost to an Alien Jump-fleet near Mars. The first Purple Heart was awarded yesterday.
We are 28 pilots away from locking our "First 1000" Gold Medals. If you love hard sci-fi and want to see what three Roman veterans can do in a browser tab, come say hello!
Hey PH! I'm Danish, building NeuralShield, a private AI research engine for professionals
Hey everyone!
I'm Danish, a software engineer with an MSc from the University of Manchester. For the past 6 months I've been building NeuralShield, a desktop AI research engine for professionals who handle confidential data.
The core idea: lawyers, doctors, and analysts need AI but cannot risk sending client data to cloud servers. A federal judge recently ruled that using cloud AI destroys attorney-client privilege. NeuralShield runs everything locally.
When you ask a question, it decomposes it into sub-queries, detects the professional domain, searches the web in parallel, and verifies every claim through 5 layers before the model generates anything. Every answer comes back with inline citations. All from a local model running on your own hardware.
Upload a legal contract and ask about a specific clause. Upload a medical guideline and ask about a treatment protocol. The system understands document structure and returns section-level answers.
Hi. I'm Vihaan K.
I'm Vihaan Kodiganti, a young solo developer from Virginia building after school.
I created LeoIgnite because I wanted a better kind of emotional support. One that actually feels like talking to a real friend. Inspired by Leo Valdez from Percy Jackson, Leo is a warm, witty, and lightly chaotic repair boy who lives in a cozy inventor workshop.
He offers unlimited messages with no paywall, real memory of your conversations, mood awareness, and three distinct modes (Normal, Chaos, and Story). Instead of generic responses, he helps teens navigate school stress, friendship drama, late-night overthinking, and motivation struggles with genuine personality and practical support.
Still very early, but built with care. Would genuinely appreciate your honest feedback and upvotes as I continue improving him.
Hello Product hunt! This is Balu Marikanti, launching CodeVarsity tomorrow.
Why I built NeoShift BI — and what I learned analyzing 409 startup post-mortems
Hey PH community I'm Donald, a solo developer based in Jakarta.
Before our official launch later this month, I wanted to share a data point that completely changed how I'm building my product.
