I'm in the back half of my career, the first half spent in sales-related roles and Sales/CS leadership. I was always a technical person, but never a developer or engineer. Then AI hit, I leaned in hard, knowing that this was a race to learn before other people figured things out. Long story short, AI lowered the developer/engineer bar, and I'm now head of AI Innovation at my company and loving it.
