I'm going against the current — curious what you think
Hi~ Product Hunt 👋
I want to be honest about something and hear what you think.
Right now, the AI world is all about speed. Vibe coding, one-click apps, generate everything in seconds. And I get it — it's genuinely impressive.
But I kept asking myself: are we actually understanding any of this?
Not "how to use it." But why it works. Why it fails. What we're quietly giving up when we let AI think for us without knowing how it thinks.
So I did something that probably looks slow and old-fashioned in 2026: I built a library.
Dechive (https://dechive.dev ) is a bilingual digital library where I record my own process of understanding AI — deeply, carefully, one question at a time. No quick tips. No "10 prompts to boost productivity." Just honest inquiry into what's actually happening inside these systems and what it means for how we work and think.
I know the criticism. "Why write long essays when AI can summarize everything?" "Why go slow when the tools are getting easier every day?"
Maybe they're right. But I can't shake the feeling that someone needs to ask why — and keep asking — even when the rest of the world is moving on.
So I'm curious: does this resonate with anyone here? Or does it sound like I'm just swimming against the tide for no reason?
Would genuinely love to hear your honest take. 🙏
