In the early stages of the COVID lockdowns, there was a surge in retail investment as people followed the unsound advice of r/wallstreetbets and engaged in crypto trading. However, relying solely on Reddit threads for trading decisions is not always wise. It is important to have visibility and assistance. Very cool, interface / dashboard / reporting looks pretty slick. Also a big fan of the focus on long term investing! Curious whether it will allow me to see my allocations across different ETFs / mutual funds - so for example if I own multiple ETFs that all include a portion of U.S. based large cap growth equities is it able to show me the concentration of the underlying individuals stocks within those ETFs?

@adam_fry Thanks for testing it out and your feedback. The feature you are mentioning is indeed a highly requested feature within our community. It's not so easy because many of the popular ETFs (e.g. MSCI World) consist of multiple thousand securities and we haven't found a data source to get a full holding list automatically. Top10/50 is easy, but limited benefit. We provide some advanced holding insights within the "Allocation" tab - you should definitely check it out! :)

@chrisrok Thank you for the answer. I can imagine it get quite complicated and / or that APIs from Morningstar or Bloomberg may exorbitantly expensive even if they do allow it. Will check out the holding insights once I have a chance.

Not a question but a comment on your great app: I‘m a user already and can definitely recommend the app to everyone! It‘s very helpful by letting you connect with other investors and giving you an overview of all your different assets — and it‘s suitable for beginners as well as experienced people in taking control of your financial independence! Also, the premium version cannot be recommended enough and is a big bonus! You‘ll get even more valuable insights into your finances. Thank you for this app!!:)

Excited to use Getquin more in the future, for fun conversations, feedback and insights into the world of stocks. Linking my portfolio was super easy. It synced instantly and it gives me a pretty good insight about what is currently going on (it looks better than the UI my broker is using now). Im in the game for long term investing so it´s nice to see so many like minded people on the platform. On a sidenote, i haven´t seen any toxic behaviour, wich is very pleasant. Currently testing the app even more, might buy the premium version. Best of luck from germany <3
