Elon Musk was extremely frustrated that Wikipedia couldn t be manipulated, and he even offered $1 billion if they renamed it to d*ckipedia.
Since that didn t work out, he s now trying to build his own platform for gathering information claiming that Wikipedia is hopelessly biased, and that left-leaning editors influence its content.

2.5 years ago I decided to quit the rat race and I left my career in big tech to go work for myself, on my own terms. Initially, I was going to focus all my attention on building a SaaS, but I quickly realized I didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket. Fast forward to today, I make and sell educational info products, do some contracting (working quarter-time at Gumroad), run a SaaS business, and at the end of this month, I also plan to get into selling physical products.I made $550K+ in revenue since I started working for myself, with over $400K coming from info products. Ask me anything!

Hey! Dru here. Founder of Trends.vc. We help entrepreneurs discover new markets and ideas. In February 2017, with $250,000 in savings and no plan other than taking a mini-retirement, I quit my job as a big-data engineer. I spent the next three years traveling and learning, practicing Jiu-Jitsu, doing improv, and building products on the side. On February 10th, 2020 I posted the first-ever Trends Report, focusing on Problem, Players, Predictions, Opportunities, Haters, Solutions, and Key Lessons.Since then Trends.vc reached 48,000+ subscribers and 1,000+ Trends Pro Members. Happy to answer any questions on topics we've covered or the journey so far. AMA!
I just read that Poland wants to launch a pilot project of a 4-day work week from January 2026 (although a 4-hour work week would sound better).
I want to ask if any of you in your company have tried this concept of a shorter work week, and how it has affected the results of your employees and the company?
Okay, small confession. For the last few months I've been "busy" all day but somehow shipping almost nothing. Tabs open everywhere, jumping between Slack, notes, half-written docs and by 6pm I couldn't tell you what I actually finished.
Last week I stripped everything back to three things: one notes app, a timer, and physically closing Slack for 90 min blocks. First time in ages I actually felt like I made progress instead of just looking productive.
But I know I'm probably still doing this wrong. :)
So I'm curious what's the one habit or tool that genuinely keeps YOU focused?
Have you ever had the thought you ve only succeeded due to luck and not because of your talent or qualifications? And thus, don't feel like you deserve to be where you are? What are your tips and tricks to get your head straight again?
