Has AI affected the way you recruit, assign tasks, or how many people you employ?

One week ago, I noticed in one Facebook group (nich : Graphic design) this discussion post:
TL;DR: Due to AI advancement, he receives 70% less work as a graphic designer  freelancer.

Should AI tools be designed to say “wait”?

Most AI products are built to produce an answer, recommendation, signal, or action every time a user asks for something.

But in areas like trading, investing, healthcare, or cybersecurity, forcing an answer can be dangerous. Sometimes the most responsible output might be:

Wait.

There is not enough information.

What's the one question you wish you could just ask your business and get an honest answer to?

Hey Product Hunt!
I'm launching today, and I've been collecting the questions business owners say they wish they could just ask their own business and get a straight answer.

The most common ones I keep hearing:

"Did I actually make money last month?"

"Where did our cash go?"

What does switching between businesses cost that never shows up on a calendar?

Everyone talks about the time cost of running more than one thing, an hour here, an hour there. Nobody talks about the reset cost. Going from a staffing call to a pricing decision to a customer complaint isn't three tasks, it's three different modes of thinking, and I always lose a few minutes just remembering which version of me the next one needs.

Some days that reset tax alone feels bigger than the actual work. Curious if anyone else who juggles more than one business or product has found a way to shrink that switching cost, or if you've just made peace with losing a chunk of every day to it.

How do you make the atmosphere in your company more pleasant for your team?

I believe this topic is relevant to you as well, since there are many company founders here at various stages of starting up or running their businesses.

Visual Capitalist shared the results of Glassdoor reviews, revealing which companies are most admired by their employees. (See the infographic below.)

How do you start validating an idea when your audience is hard to reach?

I ve been working on a product for podcasters and while I m excited about the idea, it s been tricky to consistently connect with the right people for feedback.

I ve tried a few things: replying in niche communities, asking questions on Reddit, and even testing out some cold outreach. A couple of early chats helped shape my thinking, but it s been tough to keep the momentum going.

Do you have an e-commerce business? If so, I’d love to learn about it!

I feel like I don t see a lot of e-commerce businesses on here, so if you ve got one, tell me about it.

Which technological change in 2025 brought the biggest outcome to your business?

I think the biggest AI boom was in 2023-2024, but only now have I noticed improvements that have positively helped many businesses.

If I had to name three things that have had a very positive impact on business, they are:

  • Improved image creation using GPT Chat

  • Realistic videos through AI, where costs are reduced by hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars (production video agency vs. a few custom prompts)

  • "vibe coding" tools that show me a visual and I can reverse query and learn why the code is written in such a way that I got a certain result.
